What nicknames do you have for rides???

Add another vote for Fast Track - my MIL never gets the name right :rotfl:

I seem to recall Peter Pan being called "That bloody stupid Peter Pan ride" a fair few times in our last trip, too. We were there as an all-adult trip, decided to go on Peter Pan even though none of us were fans of the ride, but the wait time was short and it was hot so we figured what the hell. When we got in the queue, it took an hour (not the 20 mins posted) and the ride broke. AAARRRGGGHHH! :rotfl2:

We still call the TTA, Webway or the people mover. When we're stressed we call it the "thingy". Somehow DH and I know what we'e talking about. :teeth:

We always call Space Station Earth (or is it Space Ship Earth?) the Space Trip. My sons have often called it the spacy ride. No clue why, as long as we all meet up by the "big ball." :lmao:

WHICH CARTOON CHARACTER ARE YOU?

Primeval Whirl = the bone crack ride :teeth: We love it.

We have always called Spaceship Earth the Big Golf Ball....

Small World has always been called Small H**L by my DH

Spaceship earth is the golf ball and Thunderbolt Mountain is runaway railroad. I came up with that name when I was young.

My children have called the monorail the 'twister' for ages! Not sure why.
Let's see:

The Ball Ride - SE

The Box Ride - TTA

That's all I can think of right now.

btm =runaway train (I too because of the one that was in Great Adventure NJ)
the golf ball (no explanation necessary)
Splash Mountain = Crunchy bears (by my then 3 year old daughter)
Tea cups = hurl a whirl..

TTA will always be Wedway for me

Tinkerbelle's Flight is TwinkerBear's Flight, after a very confused father we overheard several years ago, who was excited for his children to see it. Every time we visit MK we say "Who wants to see TwinkerBear's Flight?"

We always pronounce Tower of Terror in a heavy Pittsburgh accent. Mainly because you can hear the accent when we say it anyway, so we merely emphasize it. :)

My kids were calling the Haunted Mansion, the Spooky House ride for awhile but now that DS has memorized the entire opening monologue (you know - "Welcome Moolish Mortals to the Haunted Mansion, blah blah blah) they call it the Haunted Mansion :hmghost:

:lmao: I know exactly how you are saying it then!

TTA-We have always called it the people mover.
Tiki-"The thing that that wretched Iago bird took over"
Triceratop Spin and the Aladdin one that is similar-"Dumbo clones"
BTMR-We always just call it "Big Thunder"
Spaceship Earth-The golfball
Mission: Space=Mission: Puke

IASWA = Small Wee World, after my neice rode it thats the version of the song she sang ..OVER AND OVER AGAIN ,,put it this way I would have raher just gotten back on the ride!

BTMRR= Thunder
Splash Mountain Splash
Space Mnt= Space
CoP = we dont call it by name but sing the theme song "Theres a great big beautiful tommorow"

Swiss Family robinson = shade under the tree

TT= nascars (?? dont ask me I TRY to correct them but it just aint happening)

My 5 yr old daughter loves big rides, but is nervous to try new ones. Specially if the name is Tower of Terror. We now call it Tower of Tickles. She loves it.

We also use "Mountain Range" when we get to MK. As in-"Let's do the Mountain Range!"-which consists of Splash, BTMRR and Space, usually in that order.

My DD2 calls POTC(ride, movie, and Johnny Depp), Pirates, Carrots, the beans.

When we took our 5 year old nephew on his first trip to WDW he called it Mickey's house.

The TTA is always the "People Mover". Spaceship Earth is the Giant Golf Ball (or another "ball" name that is not appropriate for young children). Buzz Lightyear is "Buzz-Buzz". Splash Mountain is "Splish-Spash". The Universe of Enegy is "Ellen's". Malstrom is "The Trollway". I know I have more, but I can't remember them right now.
