What are this years 'Must Haves' for the kids. I must admit that my youngest DD is getting a temporary tattoo kit from her grandparents, but other than the usual DVD's and books, my girls are after $$$ to buy their Christmas pressies out there.

So what are your little darlings hoping that Santa will leave them ??

he is a bit young for it still but will grow into it LOL - think DH wants it for himself!!!! :rotfl2:

We have also got him lots of Baby Einstein dvds and educational stuff from the early learning centre!!!

Wow! That is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time! If it wasn;t so expensive I'd get one for my BIL, he'd love it, especially as they have a 3yr old daughter who could ride it.

That is great! DD is after everything she sees on the TV but Dora and the Princesses are big themes this year. Trying to persuade her to ask Grandma for a 'TumbleTime Tigger'! ;)

Not sure what Baby will get (waiting to see who s/he is!) except for a cuddly Teletubby DD chose for him!

DS wants an electric guitar & amp. I want ear plugs! DD wants $$$ to spend while we are away

Slightly OT ... but any ideas what the 'coolest' toy is for a 11, and 10 year old girl? Or any ideas what to get them for under £50 each? They are my neices and I could ask the parent, but that is no fun, as it means I know exactly what to get and there is no toy shop browsing.

hi all
my youngest ds who is 9 wants an electric scooter a phone and a nintendo ds with the nintendogs game and my eldest ds 13 wants a psp and a mp3 player

eve ::MinnieMo

both dd's want pink nintedo ds's which i already have got. i thought there would be a high demand so i bought them early to avoid dissapointment.

dd7 wants everything she sees on the telly or on the argos website where as dd10 hasnt asked for anything else. its dd10s bday next week (shell be 11) and i dont have a clue what to get her. shes not into toys as such. just wants the ds like i said. any ideas would be great. she reads loads so books or book vouchers are always an option but slightly boring as a main gift.

love

lucy

Main presents Eldest DD an Nintendo DS, DS a Gameboy Advance SP, DD(3) Leapster

Anthony (7) wants an X-factor karaoke machine.......
Christopher (6) wants a bike.......and they both want power rangers, Pokemon emerald for the GBA and Lego.....:)

DD wants The cinderella glass slipper game, Barbie and the magic of pegasus, and the Princess Tv. She loves to draw and Colour so may but a set of plastic draws and fill it with pens, pencils, Glue, glitter. Crayola do a draw set but you don't get much in it. She also wants a Furby but shes convinced they are called Bertys :rotfl:

My 3 DDs are getting the following for their main presents....

Ipod Nano (for the 8 (soon to be 9) yr old but jointly from g/parents too)
Pixel Chix and Barbie and Me (for the 6 yr old)
Pink Furby and V Smile (for the 3 yr old)

Still trying to think of some extras for my 6 yr old DD as she has had a lot less spent on her, do you guys always spend equal, the thing is I know she will be happy with whatever she gets so I might just save the money and put it towards the holiday, does that make me a bad Mum

Even now with my "children" all in their 20's I ALWAyS spend exactly the same on each of them.

Nicola- not at all!!!There's no point buying things that DD does not want and may not play with!

DS is getting a telescope and DD is getting a pair of rollerskates. They've sent their Santa letters already :teeth:

Don't flame me here but I don't see Christmas as an excuse to buy loads of very expensive presents for the kids just for the sake of it. My two will be delighted with their presents and we will get them a couple of other small things they also really want like some Yu-Gi-Oh cards for DS and a Polly Pocket case / set for DD. I see their friends with huge lists of "must have's" running into 100's and 100's of ££ and their parents are struggling to buy it all but rather than say no they go-ahead and get them all.

Jakki I am with you 100%, though I feel a bit of a miser for saying so :(
