What movies make you cry?

I seem to cry very easily at emotional movies. Heck I even cry almost every week just watching Grey's Anatomy and some episodes of Revenge. They have very touching/moving episodes.
But there have been some big blockbuster movies that make me cry and some lesser known movies that make me cry. I could never list them all for you because there have been so many but let me give you my short list, then you tell me your list.

1. Beaches (Bette Midler)
2. Stella (Bette Midler)
3. Steel Magnolias (who wasn't in this one)
4. Bridges of Madison County (Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep)
5. Meet Joe Black (Brad Pitt)
6. Legends of the Fall (Brad Pitt)
7. Forest Gump (when Jenny dies)
8. Old Biscuit Eater (very old movie about a dog)
9. Old Yeller (also about a dog)
10. Where the Red Fern Grows (also about a dog)
11. Hachi (about a dog) I cry when dog's die because I have been through that with one of my own dogs and it was one of the hardest times I have been through in my life besides when my mom died. But this movie wasn't actually about a dog dying it was about an owner dying but it was still very touching.
12. Marley and Me (also a dog)
13. An Affair to Remember (the original one with Deborah Kerr- the one with Annette Benning was good but the original was the first one I saw- and I don't normally like old movies that well)

And that's enough of mine. I am sure when you tell me yours I will also agree that they might have made me cry too. Like I said, it doesn't take much to make me cry in a show or a movie. Oddly enough I rarely cry over real life things, just shows and movies.

OK, go....

Oh, I am a complete and total sucker. I cry when good things happen, I cry when bad things happen. Definitely cry anytime a dog dies. I cry at almost every baseball movie, especially Field of Dreams, even when I promise myself that I will not cry this time because this movie was made on purpose to make me cry. People being noble makes me cry: I weep at Glory.

On the other hand, I have a finely tuned sensitivity for certain kinds of string-pulling. Went to see Olympus Has Fallen, because I am an idiot, and I could not stop laughing.

Wizard of Oz - pretty much all of it, especially, "I'm frightened, Auntie Em".

It's a Wonderful Life - esp. when Clarence gets to the part about how every man on the transport died because Harry wasn't there to save them, because he wasn't there to save Harry.

Oliver! - tons of parts, but mainly "Where is Love?"

Pretty much any movie where there is a strong human/dog bond.

The Notebook

A few moments in the Harry Potter series make me cry lol

P.S. I Love You

The Professional

The Color Purple.
Table for Five
Broke back Mountain
Big Fish

OMG I saw that. What made you cry in that movie? I can't remember anything emotional really in that one.

The end confrontation between Ryan Gossling and the gangster. I know he didn't die...

It was just everything... The quiet nature of the character and all he was going through to keep the girl and her child safe.

I also loved the music they chose for that movie.

the list of movies that DON'T make me cry would be much smaller...lol. but my favorites are:

steel magnolias
titanic
a league of their own (at the end, when they're at the ball field and the hall of fame)

I always try to fight the tears back. I will fight it and get a huge lump in my throat and pray please don't let anybody walk in the room I am about to cry. If I think there is even a chance I might cry I make sure not to watch it around anybody else. It would probably freak my kids out to see me cry and I wouldn't want my DH to see me cry. He would probably make fun of me. He is a joker. He aggravates me constantly.

When I watched the episode of Revenge (weekly TV show) where Jack's dog goes to Emily's house to die, I bawled. I had to pause the episode so I could stop crying. Then I kept having little crying fits because I couldn't stop thinking about Jack's dog Sammy dying in Emily's floor. I even got choked up all over again about 10 minutes after the episode was over because I kept thinking about it.

You know, those Disney movies ALWAYS make us cry.

DH said that he cried more during "Wreck It Ralph" than he did for "Les Miserables" - "You really are a bad guy"

Others:
Up
Toy Strory 3
Beauty and the Beast
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo

The Wizard of Oz
Gone with the Wind
Dr. Zhivago
Forrest Gump
