What Movies Have You Seen Lately?

"Fido" is a pretty good spin on the zombie genre. Zombies as pets. :goodvibes Right up your alley Sierra. ;)

Saw Princess and he Frog today with Deb, my daughter, and grandkids. We really enjoyed this albeit a far from perfect theater. Will be trying to see it a 2nd time this week. Hope to see Sherlock Holmes and Avatar this week as well.

Dh and I, DB and SIL, along with 19 year old nephew went to see It's Complicated yesterday. We loved it, but I think dear nephew was more than a little embarrassed at some of it....only because he was sitting next his dear Auntie (me). It was hugely funny, but at the same time very thought provoking.

We want to see Sherlock Holmes and Invictus. I want to see Nine and Dh wants to see Avatar.

I went and saw Princess & The Frog and Sherlock Holmes over the weekend.

Both were really good. I want to go see Sherlock Holmes again because I really enjoyed that movie. The banter between Watson and Holmes was really funny.

:thumbsup2 for Princess and the Frog :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 for Sherlock Holmes

I have seen Princess and the Frog, Disney Magic!
Avatar in 3-D, worth the extra $$ to see it in 3-D, great movie
Did you hear about the Morgans, cute
The Blind Side, fantastic movie

Would love to see It's Complicated and Up in the Air, but when they are rated R unless I leave the kid at home alone I have to wait till they come out on DVD, such is the life of a single mom.

What is A Single Man rated? I love Colin Firth!

DH and I took my Mom to Did You Hear About the Morgans? on Christmas Eve, it was cute. She said this was the first adult movie she has gone to in years- she takes her 3 grandsons to the movies alot.
Took the out-laws and my Mom to see Its Complicated last Saturday- really funny.
Hoping to see Sherlock Holmes this weekend.

I saw Avatar in 3-D, how did the IMAX compare?

IMAX was awesome, but a bit too loud for me. I also don't like sitting too close to the screen as I get dizzy. I think the story and images are fine even without the gimmics of IMAX and 3D.

R ... it's an "art" movie ... very adult.

I was waiting for somebody to mention Did You Hear About the Morgans. I can't wait to see that! I looove Hugh Grant! ;)

We still haven't seen Princess & the Frog. Things have been way too busy here with DAP, Christmas, etc. to go to the movies. We're hoping to do so this week.

Have you seen "The Blind Side" yet? Phillip and I saw that yesterday and we both really liked it.

DH and I, along with our 21-year old son, saw it on Sunday and thought it was great. I thought Sandra Bullock was absolutely terrific in the role (and our son thought she was "hot" :rotfl: ).

DH and I saw "Princess and the Frog" at DLR last week. We loved it. My other recent movie was "A Christmas Carol". I would like to see "Julie and Julia" next. :)

We just finished "All About Steve". Cute movie.

Re-watched Elf Christmas Eve, and it really got the kids and I in the spirit!

Watched 4 Christmases Christmas day, and found it very amusing. That SIL really stole the show. :rotfl2:

My 16 y/o daughter and I went to see "The Princess and the Frog" today, and we LOVED it.

Thurs. DH and I are seeing "Have You Heard About the Morgans". We are big Hugh Grant fans, and I love SJP.

Going out to the movies, movies: Invictus and Avatar I loved both.

Staying in to watch movies, movies: Star Trek (loved it, loved it), The Express (very good), District 9 (you have to really like Sci Fi), and Up (Pixar does no wrong in my book, wonderful storytelling)

I also had a Disney retro festival one night with Nightmare Before Christmas, Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Guess I was feeling nostalgic....

Theaters- we have seen The Blind Side (loved it!) and are seeing Princess and the Frog tomorrow night. We really want to see Up in the Air.

at home- Elf, Napolean Dynamite, and way too many kid TV shows to count...
