What mixed drinks are worth the cost?

Tipsy Ducks in Love was my fave last trip (Joy of Tea- China). I thought it was pretty strong. Then again, it doesn't take much for me I guess. The Avocado Margarita I ordered at San Angel was good as well. This trip I'm really looking forward to the Rumchatta Colada from the Homecomin' takeout spot. Discovered Rumchatta this past xmas. Liquid crack I tell ya. But I'm definitely grabbing a Tipsy Ducks in Love (or 2 or 3).

I'm going to try Dockside Margaritas at DS. Easywdw did a recent review and the drinks are made fresh in a shaker.

The bartenders at the Blue Zoo mix drinks correctly, as well. Highly recommend.

The margaritas are good at Dockside! Got one last week.

It's not just you. I have an incredibly high alcohol tolerance and the Tipsy Ducks in Love messes me up quick. The unbelievable thing about it is that it doesn't taste strong at all, but it ends up being super-strong. Probably my favorite drink at the World Showcase.

I would def. order a margarita from La Cava. They are worth it! Anything premade( ie park frozen margarita) is going to be mostly sugar. Have fun!

It's at Drinkwalla, which is a kiosk right as you enter Asia from Discovery Island. The last time I was there, I got one that was so not mixed that the first sip I took was basically straight rum. At that point I remembered to do some stirring with my straw.

I just wanted to come back and thank you for this one! I would have walked right by the kiosk and it was quite refreshing!

The kiosk in China at EPCOT seems to be the most generous with alcohol. I've tried them all and can't complain. Canto Loopy was particularly deceptive. So refreshing and delicious on a hot day. I couldn't taste the alcohol, but it kicked in quickly.

We did a kid-free trip last week and tried a lot of drinks. The best were from La Cava and Trader Sams by far.

I love the Lapu Lapu from Ohana. My husband said it was strong. I couldn't taste the alcohol but I was tipsy afterwards.

Sampled many cocktails last week, and the winners for quality came from The Boathouse and Tiffins (also served at the Nomad Lounge). Yummy!

Edited to add that we didn't make it over to the Polynesian this trip, but always enjoy the drinks at Tambu. Excellent bartenders there!

Yeah, frozen drinks always have more sugar to help with the freezing process. I was looking at getting one mixed in a shaker!

is it dark rum? We had the ones in Epcot at F&W with the white rum but AK has the dark rum ones which I definitely want to try this year.

No idea, it's just listed as "Captain Morgan Rum", so I imagine it's the standard Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.

Dockside Margaritas at Disney Springs made some pretty strong margaritas for us on our last trip. The Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom is always a winner for us, as well, as long as we stay away from the pre-mixed slushy drinks. We've had a couple "bottom of the container" pre-mixed drinks from various stands in Animal Kingdom that knocked us on our booties, but we usually find the pre-mixed stuff to be a little light on the alcohol. We also really enjoyed the Tune In Lounge in Hollywood Studios - we got the Dad's Electric Lemonade drinks with glow cubes and they were very strong - of course, we were cozying up to the bartender there, so that might have helped. If you're a wine drinker, the sangria at Wolfgang Puck's Grand Café is also delicious.

The Lapu Lapu from the Tambu Lounge was pretty strong. My husband said they nearly poured an entire bottle of alcohol in it, plus it wasn't overly sweet.

The Jalapeno Margarita from La Cava is really good.

The moonshine drinks at Crockett's Tavern at Fort Wilderness were a little punchy.

But my personal favorite is a Orange Slush in France with an extra shot on top. I could drink 10 of them!

After all the reviews I feel the need to get a Tipsy Duck in May!
