Ok, My last chance to shop before we leave is this Saturday. Any "don't forget" items anyone can think of? I'm picking up the travel size toiletries and stuff like that... oh and our tickets, finally. :hyper: Anything I buy at this point has to fit into the suitcases.

Aerosol hair spray - yes or no on the plane? I don't normally use it but got a travel bottle in a shampoo package.

Tips from Disney vets would be much appreciated.

I highly recommend some sort of blister protection. I got the bodyglide stuff and it works pretty well--it looks like a solid deodorant container and can be found with other foot protection things at sporting goods stores--along with some cool-max socks. Make sure you pack sweatshirts because DL will get chilly once the sun goes down.

Digital camera, or plenty of film(it is expensive in the park). Check the weather for the time you will be there, so you can bring appropriate clothing. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY Realize that this is the busy season for DL, bring PLENTY of PATIENCE .

I second the jackets. W were there last weekend and it was very chilly in the evenings! I also usually pack a pair of long pants for my kids (leggings or lightweight sweats) to pull on over their shorts. I also second the blister relief product. I just used such a product, I think mine was blister aid by Two Toms. I had it fed ex'd to me in time for my trip. First trip to Disneyland with no blisters. I am used to hobbling on the plane and looking like some kind of bandaid freak!

Hey, I think we are going the same time you are!! What are your travel dates? We are going July 3rd through July 7th.

Definitely bring sweatshirts for the evening hours in Disneyland and DCA, especially if you plan to ride Splash Mountain or Grizzly River Rapids. Aerosol hairspray cans should survive a plane ride. I usually put mine in the gallon-size Ziploc bags before I leave just in case.

Pack some band aids in your purse just in case. We were there two years ago during 4th of July and I got my little toenail torn off by a stroller wheel coming at me from the opposite direction. We were in Frontierland and I had to hobble, leaving a trail of blood, all the way to Main Street First Aid Station to get a band aid, so this year, I'm carrying a stash with me.

Have fun!

We're going July 6 - 13th. So I'll add to my list

- blister stuff of some sort
- make sure I pack some band aids
- sweaters and long pants were going anyway, as well as light jackets (hey we live in Saskatchewan, we know to NEVER trust the weather ;) )
- I'm going to throw in some peppermint foot lotion and pick up a small package of some sort of foot soak, too.
- and I'll pick up some Gel insoles for dh and ds, too. My shoes always have them in and I'll be sitting on the scooter the majority of the time, anyway.
- dh already added to the list a new memory stick for the digital camera, but I better remember to pack the battery charger.
- the money end of it is covered, I'm working on the patience. Not my strong suit.

Thanks. Once I get through this weekend of literally going here there and everywhere, I'll get started on my actual packing list.
