Hi all!

so what one thing is something that makes your trips special?

for me it would have to be Cafe Mickey, we have been here (me and dd) 4 time and each time have taken away special memories, especially are first trip when we went for lunch and as they was only four families there, it took us ages to eat as the characters would not leave us alone. It was fantastic though during this meal pinocchio would not leave me alone, he kept tickling me and jumping up at me, This has made dd scared of him, she thinks he will jump up at her, at are most recent trip she won't go near him.

For me it is: To stay in one of the Dinsey Hotels! :cloud9:
And to eat at a nice Disney restaurant like Walt's, Blue Lagoon, Auberge de Cendrillon... :woohoo:

For me, it is just being able to walk around and be able to get lost in the beauty and atmosphere of the place, and people watching - Disneyland is perhaps the best place to do this! I love the breakfast in the hotel and then strolling down by the river to the park in the morning, it's always a surreal feeling because I remember doing this when I was 6 so for my, going to DLP is like a return to my childhood - literally! The tarzan show also never fails to fill me with that Disney feeling, in particular the part where Tarzan 'flies' and the music matches this perfectly. I have goosebumps just thinking about it :D

I hope this is what my DDs will feel like when they are grown up too.

I love going to Disney because I find they are truly happy family holidays, we never have any silly squabbles there or find we can't decide what to do each day. Disney parks really are the happiest places on earth.

We just love wandering through the parks, watching the parades, having nice meals in the restaurants,.....and oh yes, the rides.....I would love Disney even if there weren't any rides! :)

For me its feels like coming home.

Its like the song of Tom Jones: The green green grass of home

Walking down main street to all the music with the view of the castle makes me so excited and our first ride on IASW. It always brings a tear to my eye to see DD's reaction.

For me it is seeing the one-to-one character interraction with children. Our best moments were at the meet and greets at the DLH hotel and at the character meals. This is when the magic fills the air and those little faces light up in total awe (even for the older one who previous to the holiday, had some doubts about authenticity).

For us its simply just being there... It really is the most magical place on earth... :cheer2:

Food plays a bit part for us, we eat out every night.

I also like character encounters, I am not sure I mentioned in my trip report from May one of the characters chasing my DS(14) around trying to get his light ball. I had to sit down after this experience as I laughed so much. My DS was outraged that he could have been treated this way and That I just laughed. The characters bring out a childlike element in me.

My first sight of the castle and walking down main street ,it never fails to give me goose bumps .I also tend to cry at the parades and have to put my sunglasses on very quickly so people dont think im a mad woman.ITs all soooo magical :wizard:

Being in a world of its own for a few days with nothing to worry or think about than the next ride I want to go on, the fact that I can get an adrenaline-shot every hour by riding a rollercoaster. Also seeing the expressions on children but also on adults faces who look as happy as I feel when I´m there. :cloud9:
When we watched Wishes on wednesday there were so many people that sang along with the song which made the show very special. I don`t think there`s another place (well maybe except soccer games ;) ) where things like this happen.

Everything :goodvibes DLRP is very special to me, it's my first Disney park and I have a soft spot for it :goodvibes

:sunny:
