I'm looking to put some positive vibes out there ( and to counter some of the pet peeves, annoyed or can't believe this threads. not to burn those, but just to balance them ;) )Ok, so it doesn't have to be anything big or world changing. It can be something small or something huge.. Anything at all is acceptable.. even if it is the same thing as yesterday.

One thing in your own life

and

One thing from Disney ( park, character, cm etc )

For me it was
my 16 yr old son telling me he loved me when he left for school

and
seeing the creativity of the new Animation Resort in WdW

I'm looking forward to attending DD's rocket launch today with DH, having DH home for the afternoon and then attending DS's baseball game this evening with DH. :)

My WDW positive would have to be seeing pics of the new Fantasy Land Train Station and loving all the details and "extra's" they added. So creative!

ETA: Ooo, can I add another one? After having a tooth pulled yesterday (and both DD and I having a hard time LOL) she woke up this morning all smiles and said she feels fine. :)

I have not been feeling well lately (just tired, sore) and have been sleeping later than normal. Usually my DH will leave for work without waking me, but today he woke me with a kiss on the cheek, saying, "Feel better, Sweetie." It made me smile!

As far as Disney goes, we plan on taking our DD in October of 2013, when she is about 15 months old. My whole family will be going, so I've been having a blast discussing our different resort options with my mother (who is just as excited). :woohoo:

Last night I taught my sons the simple pleasure that is "painting with dandelions". We used to do this as kids, smear the dandelion head on our skin - it would paint your skin yellow. And the smell brings me right back to childhood. Well apparently I didn't scrub my feet as well as I thought I did in the shower b/c I still have yellow dandelion paint on the tops of my feet :) Wearing capris and sandals to work today...I look jaundiced, lol! But it made me smile, teaching my kids something so simple! (And hey, it inspired them to pull all the dandelions in the yard!!)

Our flight prices went down today (woo hoo!) so we got a refund of about 3500 points each (so 14000 points for all of us!). Which means we have enough points for another trip this winter :) And DH told me today he wants to move our flight time up (currently leave at 920 am...get into MCO at 420) to leave at 6am which means 4 extra hours there!!! Cannot wait to board that Magical Express in 113 days!

Thanks, OP. I love these threads!

Seeing pictures of my nephews wedding (Saturday) on facebook made me smile!

They are honeymooning at WDW and posted a pic relaxing on the beach there!

Love this idea!

I absolutely love when I drop my kids off and they get about halfway up the walk and turn around to smile and wave at me. Always makes me smile!

After our trip last summer, I didn't think we'd get to go back but DH is agreeable & the kids loved it just as much, even though they're older. We look forward to seeing all the new changes in a few years.

My DS15 laying on my shoulder last night because he wanted to sit next to his mama to watch TV. Thankfully he's not to cool for that.
DS11 flashing me the peace sign on my way out of the school building (because he is to cool for hugs and love you's in front of friends. LOL
DS10 thanking me for Nutella sandwiches.
DD6 comforting her classmate who was having a "I need my mommy" moment.
DH texting me as I left Starbucks to tell me to drive safely (Texted before I took off)

Disney- This. I just watched it this morning. She's 17!!! She needs to work for Disney!

I talked to grandson, Paul, on the phone this morning. Paul & family are at WDW this week.

Grandson, Paul (almost 10 years old) told me he went down Summit Plummet!

I told him even Grandma won't do that! :faint:

TC :cool1:

That was AMAZING!!!

Life: DH called to tell me our VA loan was approved for the house we are buying! :woohoo:
Kids: DS #2 was trying to sneak up the stairs and gave me the cutest innocent smile.
Disney: We were listening to children's music on Pandora the "Circle of Life", came on and DS #1 yells out "That's Lion King!" So proud!!!!!

Watching my daughters and their friend dancing in the driveway last night after softball practice. They were so happy and full of life.

Getting a post card from a good friend who just got back from Disney, and hearing what a wonderful time she had.

Couple days ago, I was making a left turn. Car in cross traffic in the left turn lane was pulled a bit past the line. Since I usually swing wide, I wasn't annoyed, but was kind of watching that vehicle close to make sure I didn't hit it. Driver was an attractive woman, 40ish. She smiled kind of flirtatiously at me & I smiled back. Made my day; hope it made hers :)

Disney-wise, just my kids getting excited that they get to go this year - their first time :)

Yesterday I was grocery shopping and like I always do, I said "excuse me" as I passed through a tight aisle. The older woman I passed stopped me and thanked me for being so polite. She then went on to tell me that I was the first person that had said that to her in awhile. It made me smile, and when I told my mom it made her smile because she knew she has raised me right.

Disney wise, I am excited to see all the new changes coming to Fantasyland and hope that with some savings we can go around the holiday in 2013.

DH sending me a picture on my phone of DD5, in her car seat with her Leap Pad and stylis in her hands, fast asleep.

This morning DD5, asking to go to Disney World today but having to say “not today” but knowing that in a few weeks, we will be going and she doesn’t even know it yet. We are planning to tell her that morning before we head to the airport.

Seeing the first hummingbird of the season on my feeder this morning really made me smile. Always get such enjoyment out of them.

For Disney, it is the fireworks! Yeah, I see fireworks here at home, too ... but there's something about standing in the MK near the castle and watching the fireworks explode that gets me every single time. :cloud9:

for today -
My cat crawled up on my lap, and I've sat here goofing off on the computer for an hour without feeling at all guilty, because how can I take away her pillow?

for Disney lately -
Helping my friend plan her six-year-old twins' first trip. Her excitement is contagious!

wow! what great posts!!
Well, today i'm really searching for something positive. : l

Life : my DD18's smile when she saw that she could have both halves of the creme filled doughnuts that were in the Dunkin Donuts bag this morning.

Disney: Although i haven't seen them in person.... yet, the firework walls in POR resort rooms.

New day, new things to be thankful for!

Home - watching DH play baseball with my boys last night. It was late...past the time the boys "should" have already been in, and I just couldn't break it up. Watching him teach my younger one how to pitch, and the older one how to catch....it was fun to watch! I cracked open a beer and sat on the patio and watched for a good hour!

Disney - today I am thinking of how nice it would be to go through Living with the Land during a thunderstorm. I think the green house would look so cool...and sound amazing...with rain, thunder, and lightening above!

Life: Today I had an ultrasound. You could see the baby's mouth moving at one point. I thought that was pretty cool.

Disney: My secretary literally just left the office 2 minutes ago to go on her first trip to Disney World since she was a little girl. I think I'm more excited about her trip than she is.

Seeing my youngest dd smile and wave bye to an older woman when we were leaving all American after lunch. I think it made both our days.

Looking forward to buying into DVC this fall.
