Lingering in World Showcase to allow the masses to exit after Illuminations; then strolling to the Fountain of Nations, and watching the dancing waters and listening to the music in an almost-empty park.

Also love the reactions of small children when drinking from the Talking Water Fountains . . . . . :)

LOL, I get a kick out of everything in WDW!

But if I have to pick one thing... it's that there's music EVERYWHERE. It seems every rock, tree and trash can plays music. It's never quiet, lol! But I love it :)

I love the "WAY LA" song from Tapestry of Dreams, and I love that you can still hear it played after Illuminations eventhough there is no longer a parade :goodvibes

Its always my favorite thing to watch little girls of about 4 interact with the princesses. (Brings back sweet memories of my daughter's first time at WDW) I remember once watching a little girl at the table next to me at Cindy's who was dressed as a Disney Princess, meet her "double". She hugged the real "Disney Princess" so hard and started crying with excitement and through the tears I hear the little girl say " I love you so much, I couln't wait to meet you, you are very most favorite princess" . She couldn't bring herself to let go. Once time this happened it was so touching that about 5 tables of people were all crying. The mom finally had to gently pry the little girl away from the princess, who came back and made another stop at the table on the way out.
(Im sitting here now crying just remembering it)

I love this too! I remember in 2003, we were sitting on the Main St. curb waiting for the parade to start. At the time, my girls were 2 and 9 mos. I saw a group of three or four little girls (all dressed up as princesses) holding hands and dancing in the street while they were waiting as well. It almost made me cry!

I can't wait for my girls (now 4 and 2 1/2) to be doing that this year...in two weeks!

After MK closes, my wife, two children (always sleeping) and myself go to the bakery on Main Street. We get a couple of coffees and something sweet. We then take a left down the ally way to the end, where there is usually and open set of table and chairs. We sit down, and watch everyone pass by on Main St. leaving the park. We talk about anything. How much fun we had, the things we still have yet to see, all while relaxing with our coffee and a snack. It's nice to sit down and take a break after the hustle of a Disney day.

The park slowly clears out. You'll see a character or two exiting through a big door back into the bowels of the park. Mystery, peace and satisfaction all felt at once. It's amazing. I haven't thought about that in a while. I'll have to reminisce with my wife tonight. It should bring a smile to her face.

We love:
-the "singing" bushes at the Polynesian at night
-early mornings at the parks when everything is fresh and new
-a Pecos Bill's burger
-Living With the Land
-the old ABC theme songs played outside the ABC Commisary
-a Mickey bar at AK on a really hot day

* Sitting at the Ice Cream Shop on Main Street after Wishes when MK is closing and just watching all the happy (and TIRED!!) people and reliving the wonderful memories of the day

* The corny jokes on the Jungle Cruise

* Eating Fish and Chips in England at Epcot

* Eating a brat and having a beer in Germany at Epcot

* Watching my DS9 blush when standing next to a princess!!!

* Watching my mother collapse into a blubbering pool of goo when she enters the MK!!

* Watching my mother jump up and down like a little kid when she gets her picture taken with Mickey (especially JEDI Mickey!!)

I love to be in any park for an early breakfast and see everything still wet and clean from being washed down. It is so fresh.

It's not one thing, it is all of the "little" touches that they do to every aspect of the park, characters, shops, and rides. They research and study and make everything perfect and THEN they put it into service. All of the perfectionist aspects make me laugh. I love it. Thanks WDW!!!

The first little touch I noticed that is such a big touch to a mom of little ones, was the child level sinks in the bathrooms. It is such a chore to pick my guys up to wash there hands. I absolutely loved them being able to wash their hands all by themselves.

Also the commentary on the parade at MGM, I felt like I was really on the red carpet!

1) The welcome show at MK.

2) Just hearing the intro for the Trolley Dancers on Main Street.

3) Mickey Mouse waving goodbye from the train station at the end of the night.
