What Laundry Detergent is your favorite and do you line dry your clothes to save money

Usually GAIN or TIDE
No clothes lines in our neighborhood. Once in awhile I'll keep something out of the dryer. I interchange between softener in the washer or sheets in the dryer (those are scent free)

Now I have that picture in my mind of my aunts under garments on the clothes line...LOL oh, the 60's and 70's

We use Tide Pods and never ever hang our clothes outside- They don't seem clean to me if they have been hanging outside with pollen, bugs birds etc- And hanging jeans on the line makes them so stiff you could stand them up in the corner LOL.

We usually use Kirkland brand from Costco. Only things that shouldn't go in the dryer get hung up. We have a rod in the laundry room so stuff just gets hung there. If I hung up most things they'd need to be ironed and that isn't happening.
That must depend on your habits for drying then.

My husband dries everything in the dryer meanwhile I don't as you can see from my earlier comment. Guess who irons every day their shirts? (it's my husband).

When I take my things out of the washer things like cotton t-shirts and whatnot get a quick swipe/smack in the air being careful not to stretch the fabric if you know what I mean (can't think of a better way to describe it) and then hung up to dry and that reduces the wrinkles.

I alternate between a few brands depending on what's on sale at Publix, when I run out.

I have a hangful of clothes that I hang up to dry, mostly bras, some shirts and like 2 pairs of shorts. But they are always crinkly and wrinkly, so I'll toss them in the dryer for 3-4 mins to soften them up and get the wrinkles out.

Us too... All free b/c we have a baby & we use the dryer every time unless something can’t go in there. Need it done as quickly & efficiently as possible.
We use free too due to allergies. Though was just at my mom's for a month and she uses Tide scented and, man, it does make things smell soooo good (just makes me itchy). There is a lavender lid All free that I LOVE but can rarely find. It is scented a tad.

Can't have a clothesline according to my HOA but this is OK. I close it like an umbrella when not in use. I also have an indoor drying rack.

Mostly I used Tide pods, but was never tempted to munch on them.

Use Tide, and most of the clothes go in the dryer except some of mine, which I hang inside.

Whatever is the cheapest liquid. My wife gets all the detergent at CVS using coupons and CVS extra care bucks. Her goal is to get it for 1 to 2 cents a load.

I use Persil. Its just me so not a lot of laundry to even bother with trying to nickel and dime the process. I do have a garment rack to hang up more delicate shirts that shouldn't be put in the dryer.

I like Gain. Just love the smell. But keep some tide with oxy around for any of dh’s work clothes that get really dirty.

I do use fabric softener, usually dryer sheets. Love the feel of my towels and sheets!

I hang my works clothes to dry inside. Everything else goes in the dryer.

We use Tide Free and Gentle. Clothes lines aren't allowed here, but IDK if I'd use one even if they were. I have some items I like to hang dry, but I like the softness of laundry coming out of the dryer. DH and I grew up with crunchy line dried towels.

Tide Pods- Downy Fabric Softener

The only thing I line dry are t-shirts that I'm afraid will shrink. Even then I throw them in dryer for a few minutes to soften them up

Any detergent that is free and clear, for allergy and skin sensitivity issues.

I line dry my shirts, shorts, and pants whenever the weather allows. Socks, undershirts and underwear go in the dryer.

My wife doesn't line dry anything.

I prefer Tide and try to stock up when it is on sale.

I will also use All and Gain if it is on sale.

I hang up all of our clothes to keep them nice for longer. I don’t have a clothes line. I hang up clothes on a clothes rack with hangers. If the shirts are thin fabric that will develop “hanger wings” if dried on a hanger, I just drape them over our kitchen chairs.

I've always and only used Tide and Downey. I'll hang dry things that say to do so, and some of our work/ sport cloths and delicates. No outside drying- I have allergies and we do have a lot of birds!

Tide Oxi, forgot the name of liquid softener.. I’m new to that ...and Love it!

Hang a lot.. indoors in the laundry room.. sundresses/yoga stuff, all T shirts, gym stuff and everything dh.
Dryer sheets on towels/sheets and all else that goes in dryer.
