What kind of vehicle do you drive and what do you like about it?

I have a 2005 Toyota 4 Runner. I've wanted a 4 Runner since I was in HS, so this was sort of a dream come true for me.

Living in the Northeast, it's great for winter driving, all my stuff fits in it and I'm hoping that a lot of stuff will fit when I move South next spring!

I don't know if I'll get another one once I'm living in FLA since my needs will be different there.

We just got a 2005 Ford Freestyle Limited last week and I  it!! Drives like a dream, gets good gas mileage, leather seats, dual climate control, moonroof, heated seats, you name it. Its the nicest car we've ever owned. :thumbsup2

DH ordered a new touch-screen radio for it that should arrive today.

I drive a 2007 Hyundai Eleantra, and I love it. It has a roomy interior, smooth ride (I drive around 450 miles a week, so this is very important). It also gets good gas miliage. I've been able to squeez almost 400 miles out of one tank of gas. It also has a great warrnty, 10 year/100,000 powertrain and a 6 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper. With the driving I do I'll 100,000 long before I get to 10 year, so its nice to have that extra miliage.

I drive a 2004 Suburu Forester, and I love it. Living in an area that gets the most snow East of the Rockies, I really appreciate the all-wheel drive and the "winter package" has heated seats and heated outside mirrors. I feel relatively secure driving in heavy snow (never feel TOTALLY secure on the road in winter!)

2006 Chrysler Pacifica- my vanagon.
very comfortable
seats 7-good for my taxiing my daughter and her friends
roomy for hauling stuff
I have the optional automatic rear door lift-LOVE this.

I have a 2007 Toyota Solara Convertible- I love this car. I rides good and looks soooo cool!!! It seats 4 while most convertibles are 2 seaters.

We also have 2006 Explorer. We use this for vacation because of the extra space to haul stuff as well as to take the garbage off and other things. It also has the 3rd row seats. It is nice to be able to take a group without having a minivan.

I just traded in my '06 Explorer for an '07 Nissan Altima. I was an Explorer owner before when gas was way cheaper. I don't know what I was thinking. I hated it this go around. It was roomy, but unnecessary. I shopped and shopped and got a great deal on a Nissan Altima. It is roomy for a family of four. It has a HUGE trunk which I routinely change my two year's old diaper in. LOL The gas mileage is incredible. We did a 680 mile trip on one tank! I am not joking. I filled the tank up for $42, topped it off twice during the trip-once for $18 and once for $21. We could not believe it. I love the car. I had hoped for a Prius, but they are pricey and they won't negotiate much. I love to haggle.

Good luck.

A 1998 Ford Explorer. It's big and roomy. I like being high and like the 4 wheel drive for the winter. Handles nicely, has a pretty good ride. We've had good luck with it...no major breakdowns...pretty much just normal maintenance. Gas is expensive, although for a pretty good size vehicle, I don't find it to be terrible on gas.

I would recommend it.

I ordered a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with Sat Nav & bluetooth a few weeks ago. I can't wait for it to come in! I currently drive a 2002 Nissan Maxima that has been nothing but trouble.

DH drives an '05 Ford F-150 Lariat and he LOVES it. I have to admit, it drives WAY better than my Maxima.

Infiniti G35.
What I like about it ... well... it's my dream car. I love the look, all leather, power everything, in dash six speaker stereo system with Bose speakers, heated seats, and all kinds of bells and whistles. Luxury all the way!!

I have a 2005 Honda CR-V, which is their small SUV. I LOVE it, and we'll probably buy another CR-V when it's time to get a new vehicle. I love sitting up higher in an SUV, but I love that my Honda gets great gas mileage (only a little bit worse than our 2 door Honda Accord which gets super great gas mileage). I love that it rides nicely and I love little things about it as well--it has 5 cupholders, lots of space to store little things like cell phone chargers and my iPod, and a nice size storage space in the back as well. I love the new body style of the CR-V as well, which is what you'd get if you bought a new one. Good luck choosing a new vehicle!

Lexus RX 350 (SUV.) It's probably the most comfortable and well appointed vehicle I've ever had the pleasure of owning. There are days when I could keep driving forever, I hate to get out of it! I can't wait to test the heated seats in the winter, if winter ever gets here that is!

When we first got it last month, DH and I would take a cruise at 10pm just for the sake of driving it! Yes, we're in love with our vehicle! :lmao:

I drive a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The likes: It's paid for! Leather interior, moonroof, 4wd, tow package, etc. (I splurged and got nearly every option, knowing I would keep the car for a loooooooong time.)
It has 98000 miles.
The dislikes: gas mileage, obviously. It's an 8 cylinder so it's a bit of a hog.
I would recommend it. I think this is our 4th Jeep and I would get another.

DH drives a Mercedes SLK32 AMG. It is his personal race car. The engine is signed by the person who hand-built it in Germany. I will admit it is a gorgeous car and it drives amazingly.
He loves  that car. Unfortunately, it only seats 2 (it is a hardtop convertible) so with a baby on the way, it might have to go. :sad1:

We are thinking of getting the Mercedes CLK instead. Does anyone have one?

Another Subaru fan here.

I drive a 2004 Forrester also. Here in MA we can get VERY dicey winter weather, and this thing just goes. I don't think I'll ever own another car that does not have AWD. And Subaru just builds a great little car.

I LOVE the Tribecas, but they are a little spendy for us. The Forrester has plenty of room for us, plus an extra pal of DS's, and loads of cargo space.
