My DH is going to a conference at Disney next week. They will be busy all day, till 5-6pm. He will get there on Sat before the conference and leave on Friday. With tickets so expensive, what is his best option? Any suggestions from you experienced Disney visitors?
Thanks

I think we'll need more info before we can help...What day does the conference start? Will he go to the park each day and does he want to keep that option open? Is his conference offering any special packages for admission? Anyone else care to add before we start helping out. From what I understand, he will be there with 7 possible days to visit parks...

He is leaving this Sat. The conf. starts on Mon, with probably Friday off. He will want to play Sat. late afternoon or eve, Sunday, and possibly Fri. He will be returning home late Friday night.
Also going to epcot etc. in the evenings. I have heard of convention passes, but he does not know who to ask. The company doing the conf. did not offer passes.

If his convention is with Disney, they should provide information about convention tickets that allow entry to the parks after 5PM (or something like that) and don't cost the same as PHP. Does he have any contact for the convention with Disney? I just got a message today at work about a conference that I hope to attend in July that will be held at the Gaylord Palms, but the organization is getting a block of rooms at Coronado Springs through Disney.

I did tell DH this morning that this is something HE has to take care of. Thanks for the help.

The special convention tickets are not that great of a deal. You only saved a few dollars for admission after a certain time. I went to a convention at CSR last year and I just bought park hopper pass. These passes also expire where regular tickets don't.
