What kind of crowds should we expect Nov 17-21?

Just after the Avengers half, before Thanksgiving...Monday-Friday.

Trying to plan as we are going to have a large group with lots of littles...I'd like to be warned if it's going to be super crowded LOL!

Nov 17 is my birthday and I go every year. It's never really crowded, traditionally it's quiet at that time as it's right before the Thanksgiving holiday week. I don't know if it gets more crowded toward the end of the week, but I know the 17 is always a nice day to go (and I do! Every year LOL).

We will be there during that same week. We chose it specifically to avoid crowds! I can't say I've gone during that exact week, but I've been before at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec, & it was a lot different than when we normally go, in June! Less crowds, walk on some rides, a bit chillier. I look forward to it! The only drawback for some would be the shorter hours during the weekdays, but it looks like most of your visit will be during the weekdays anyway, and since your group includes a lot of littles, that should work just fine! The weekend (starting Friday the 21st) will be normal hours-staying open later, as well as including featuring the Fantasmic show! I'm going by last years calendar during this time-the current one was up to the 15th as of yesterday. It looks like the park will close @ 8p each weeknight.

How many little ones will you have? Our party is all adults-well, in age only-were all kids at heart! There's me & my DH , grown DD, her boyfriend, & our 19 yr old son. We are all so excited, and can't wait to enjoy the holidays!

I think we will be just fine, enjoy your trip!

It seems to be a slower time historically which is why we originally chose those dates to. They added the half marathon the weekend before which could raise crowd levels a bit. I'm assuming with the holiday week coming up soon after, people will have to return back to work and school to finish up things before Thanksgiving break. I subscribe to Touring Plans and while it was ranked a 1-2 level out of 10, it is now bumped up to a 3-4 crowd level. I still think this is the best time to visit the Holiday season in the parks compared to any other proceeding weeks.

I have 4 kids, 1 who is too short for everything, 1 who is 40 inches and 2 who can go on everything. My sister has 2 who are too short for everything and my brother has 1 who is too short. So 4 babies/toddlers, 1 preschooler and 2 big kids. My sister who is married without kids will be there as will my parents so there will be 10 adults.
