Well, first things first...it's gotta be a real NYC bagel, or at least close to it. If it ain't boiled, it ain't a bagel!
On a regular basis, I prefer a plain bagel with nothing on it, or a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese or a cinnamon raisin with either nothing or strawberry cream cheese. But sometimes, a good ol' plain bagel with lox and cream cheese is the best way to go.
