What items do you splurge on?

The thing that we splurge on is vacations.. we go on 2 cruises a year usually and sometimes WDW in between.. I dont really have anything I would give up because I already give up eating out in order to cruise so often.. but its worth it..

Books and Bread.
I love a grainy, hearty bread...which tends to be expensive...but Trader Joe's has a fantabulous selection at half the price of store brands.

And books (as well as 'zines, lit journals, graphic novels, poetry...) 'cause I am a voracious reader with a never ending appetite

Shoes. Not particularly expensive ones. I don't need anymore shoes but I keep buying them.

I just splurged on a bunch of clothes. They were all on clearance though!

Life is too short to eat cheap chocolate!

Oh I completely agree! My favorite chocolate is from Finland. (A family friend has family there and they send it during holidays.) It tastes exquisit but the funny part is, this is their cheap chocolate!

My clothes are from Target, my shoes are from Payless, but my handbag is Coach.

We've been cutting back because our cat's chemo treatments are really expensive. We don't do Starbucks every weekend now. I only grocery shop every 2 weeks instead of weekly, and we rarely go out to eat. We still take our Disney vacations (twice a year) because we are DVC members. We were there in Oct. and I didn't do any shopping other than tea from the UK.

Books, department store makeup, boutique children's clothing for DD, and shoes.

Oh - and Disney trips.

Wow. That doesn't look good all written out like that. I'm glad DH doesn't read the boards!

Dvd's and eating out every weekend. I also buy my lunch one day a week since the other days I bring my lunch from home.

Im a paper towel snob.

I have to buy the bounty three pack (every time I shop). I just cant use one. Love them things. I tease my friends when I go to use their paper towels. I say-- Yuck, what is this crap? You need to move up the paper towel chain.

My hairdresser. I refuse to have crappy hair. I will never have horrible high school hair again. Yes, therapy was needed it was bad.

MAC makeup

Traveling--I need nice, clean hotels.

And for the last 4 years it was yearly trips to the Polynesian.

Yet, want we splurge there we go without in other places.
