What items do you splurge on?

My splurge is 24oz bottles of Diet Mt Dew. I know its cheaper to buy the 2 liter bottles, but I like my 24oz "tall boys" as I affectionately call them. I drink them, coffee, and lots of water every day.

:hyper: Got Caffeine? :hyper:

For me it's Build a Bears & their clothes. I have over 20 animals at the moment and almost a closet full of clothes. I also splurge on books & disney stuff :teeth:

i tend to not spend alot on a day to day basis and save up for vacations..i am in college and working part time during the semester , full time in summer and save my money like crazy..i leave tomorrow for a 7 night cruise!

travel !!! travel !!! disney travel!!!!!!i do not spend money on clothes jewelry or coffee. i spend a ton on travel with my 3 babies!!!!!! family time, worth every dime

Special edition and director's cut DVD's(can't wait for the 4 disc Narnia!) plus tv season sets

and the sad thing about this thread is that the first thing that came to my mind was TP. :confused3 Charmin or cottonelle. None of the tissue paper stuff mom would make us use.

I need to get out more. :rotfl:

Tough choice. I thought I was a Cottonelle type gal until I tried Charmin. Now I'm in toilet paper confusion. What to buy...what to buy? :confused3 Let's really splurge and buy both. :yay: Toilet paper will never go to waste in my house. :teeth:

And when we're done with the Cottonelle Toilet rolls, the guinea pigs can chew on them because they don't use glue on their rolls. Doesn't sound like a splurge anymore, sounds like a wise investment. ::yes::

Expensive shampoo and conditioner. I don't care what anyone says...the cheap knockoffs are NOT the same. :)

Bare Escentuals..... this is a relatively new one (since April) but I am loving this stuff. It lasts a long time though- so I'm not sure it's really a splurge.

Clothes, handbags and shoes. If I had to cut back and stop buying them I could.

Music, family vacations, and trips with the "girls" to the casino! :goodvibes

Makeup, toiletries, lotions, perfumes. I have waaaay too much of this stuff.

I do have several Coach purses (both my girls have small ones as well) and Coach makeup and toiletry bags.

As a family it would be travel. Sometimes I think that we live like paupers at home so we can get away and live in luxury! (We aren't really paupers at home, but close :rotfl: )

I probably spend most of my money on yarn and scrapbooking supplies. I enjoy to travel as well but I think of that as a must not a splurge.

My hairdresser, she's expensive but she is a genius with the scissors.
Clinique products.
Charmin, big rolls, they last so long!
Oreo's only!
:cloud9:

1) Vacations - I'd rather travel less and go on a nicer trip (stay in better hotels, eat in better restaurants, go to more exotic locales) than go on more than one trip a year

2) My hair - I try to limit it to 4 times a year, but each trip to the hairdresser costs me $175. I also will NOT use cheap hair products

3) Good food/wine - I will not cut my grocery budget to the point where we are eating gross processed foods and not enough veggies. Life is too short. And definitely agree about the quality kitchen products!

Real expensive Coffee, other then that I only get the necessities for myself

Now that's sexy :smokin:
I am a perfume, lotion and candles Ho

Add me to the my life is sad group ( those talking about TP) but a splurge to me is the whipped cream in a can! We only got this at Thanksgiving as a child, so now I buy it for myself all the time! I'm very practical and thrifty but have to have my can of whipped cream!!
