what is your tree topper?

I have santa and the reindeer that revolves around a red and white striped pole( I guess its the north pole!) Its really cute- my dd loves it.I have to say every year my MIL looks at it and says I have to get you a angel- for her only an angel is tradition, for me and my daughter santa is traditional!!

We usually have a star on our tree, but our new kitten TinkerBell keeps climbing the tree and knocking the star off. Knocked the garland off, knocked the lights off, knocked the ornaments off. So we have a bare tree with a cat that likes to climb up and sit on the top. So I guess our decoration this year is the cat.

A gold star! We had an angel growing up but I never really liked it. Grew up, got my own tree, and found the nicest looking gold star tree topper at Target! :

We have 2 tree toppers that we alternate:

Santa on a Crescent Moon DS picked it out when he was 2 - no angel or star for him

and A light up Star - DD picked out when she was 2.

Before that our tree was topless

My family always had star toppers on our trees-- nothing else. So now that I have my own, that's what I use because that's what I'm used to. My husband's family always used an angel, but he doesn't seem to care one way or another, so we're sticking with the star.

Our new one is a bronze/copper color and has white lights inside so it sort of glows. It's very pretty!

There is nothing on our tree now. I got so tired of the stupid star falling off, I took the friggin thing off. BAH!

my tree has an angel given to me by my grandmother. it was given to me in 1977. it had not been used since 1945. that was the last christmas my grandfather was alive. it was in its original box. she is made out of plastic or maybe bakelite and has real human hair. it's beautiful.
