i'll be traveling w/ my 10 month old & 3 yr. old who usually nap during the afternoon but when we're away from home, anything goes since they tend to cat-nap in strollers, car/bus rides, etc. i want them to have some down time in the p.m. - i'm thinking that i should go into indoor shows like Pets Ahoy or walk throughs like the Sharks & Penguins in the p.m. Do you go in order by just doing what's closest to you or do you criss-cross the park & follow an order like rides, shows, feeding stations, etc?

My best advice would be to look at show times and feeding times that you want to hit and then see the attractions on the way to that show or feeding. I wouldn't try to criss-cross the park, you'll be doing a lot of walking without seeing much that way. Shamu Stadium and Wild Arctic are on the far side of the park (across the lake so to speak), so I'd plan on doing both those one after the other. (And remember... its COLD in the Wild Arctic attraction.)

If I recall correctly, you can't take strollers into most (if not all) of the shows and attractions.

At Sea World you pretty much have to pick up a day's schedule. Figure out what shows you want to see and when. We usually head to Arctic Adventure first during the first Shamu show because there isn't anyone there. Never plan on Arctic Adventure right after the Shamu Show ends because the lines are huge after the show. during Shamu shows you can almost walk right into Arctic Adventure.
We generally zigzag the park to see the shows then go to do the things that don't have scheduled times.
If you get there at park opening, a lot of people start the day by feeding the dolphins first and then going to the first show.
We have gold passes so don't try to see every show each time but never miss the Clyde and Seymour show. Even though it is the same script it is never the same. LOL
