What is your opinion on the United Kingdom?

Pot holes that can swallow your car, pumps that are chronically out of service despite the fact that the only way to get rainwater out of the city is to pump it out, nutria (swamp rats the size of small dogs), carjackings, swarming termites, flying cockroaches, drunk tourists, tent cities, random shootings, and most recently garbage that wasn't picked up for almost three weeks because the contractor didn't want to pay a living wage. But the benefits FAR outweigh the problems, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else on earth.
 Please list some of the benefits because they must be doozies to trump dog-rats, tent cities and car jackings.

Church
Long car rides
Going to some older relatives houses where there were no other kids or toys to play with.

A number of relatives in European countries, 4-5,000 miles away, but the furthest immediate family member is in the US, on the opposite coast, about 3,000 miles away.

Things IN my home are ok. But it’s like a drag strip behind my house. Hard to enjoy the great outdoors.

On one side is a large Multigenerational family. No! Love my extended family but I don’t want to live with them. On the other side is an older retired couple. Not ready to be at that stage of life yet. I will stick to our life. 😂

I just read on-line that Prime Video is about to debut the first season of Robert Jordan's epic Wheel of Time saga and I'm practically hyperventilating. Why wasn't I told sooner?!? :jumping1:

I'm pretty sure I've left disposable cups of various beverages, although not always just driving away. Once I got back to work after lunch where I brought something to the office. My manager came to my desk giggling a little bit and told me there was a drink cup on my car.

But I guess the one where I figure it out was when I was going for a bike ride with my bike in my car's trunk. I forgot my helmet on the room and it fell off about a block away from home when I accelerated. I don't know if it was a good idea to reuse it, but it was an expensive helmet and I didn't think it was worth buying another one. The only damage I saw was a small dent in the exposed foam. Maybe a small scratch at the top. It was what was then one of the newer semi-hard shell helmets with a thin shell over the foam.

Government jobs DON’T pay well. There are some great benefits but the pay is not great and pretty lousy in some instances.

On the other hand court reporters are paid pretty well.

As far as DNA matches on Ancestry, I have some family in relatives in New Zealand but I do not know them. Domestically, I do have some relatives in Washington and So Cal. I don't know which is further from here really, but they are both far.
