I went to Target about an hour ago - I would say it was average Saturday busy.

We also just got back from Target. Not too busy at all. We have a bigger Target about 10 minutes from this one and it is always crowded there.

Do any of you on this thread really care that much what other people are wearing? I could care less.

No, but I'd like to be able to buy clothes that I will actually wear. Fashion "trends" play a HUGE Part in what is available for purchase.

Women's dresses seem to be roughly 99% sleeveless, at least when I go dress shopping anyway. Sleeveless does not look good on me. I can see the value in some sleeveless-especially in hot weather, for some. I just wish there was more variety for those of us that do not want sleeveless.

OMG! YES! Even dresses for fall & winter seem to be sleeveless.

when I feel out my ,Medical forms, they ask me my ethnicity, and appperently I am non Hispanic, they dont have white as a choice

I've work in a field that deals with demographic data since 1999. I don't know when it change or why, but somewhere along the line, collecting data on whether you were hispanic was seperated out from asking your race.

I believe this has to do with the fact that you can be black and Hispanic. Someone who is Hispanic comes from a Spanish culture or origin, like Cuba or Central America.

Yes, this is why it’s a separate question. When asked race the majority of Hispanic/Latino people in the US select white. Some select black, some indigenous, and some “other”. Without having a separate ethnicity question, there would be no way to tell from the race question alone what percentage of the respondents were Hispanic/Latino.

You know - it would probably be safe to eat undercooked meats as long as they're irradiated. It's not radioactive. Just exposing it to gamma rays or beta rays that will kill almost anything without actually cooking it.

I would argue that if it really bothered you that much you wouldn't shop there or at least do the curb side pickup.

The so called fashion police are far worse that those who are fashioned challenged. One of the best things about living in Seattle is the attitude is "Come as you are". At the office you will see shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, yoga pants, etc... Nobody cares.

It doesn't bother me. I find my fellow humans sense of fashion and what looks good fascinating. I am not a member of the Fashion Police either. I don't get why you're so determined to argue at all. Don't you ever look at a fashion trend and think it's silly or ugly? Most people do.

The grocery store wasn't very busy this morning. Pint night on Thursday night at the little pizza place by my work was "full" by 5:30, had people waiting for a table. I will admit it made me uncomfortable that there was so many there.
