What is your one best memory of 2009?

Whether it be something that happened to you, or something that happened in the world, what would you say is the best thing or memory that happened in 2009? A personal accomplishment?

Mine is personal, but reflecting back on the past months, I was a little shocked when I got accepted into university. Considering my marks in grades 9 and 10 were below what I was capable of, actually they were horrible marks, I pulled everything together in grade 12. This made me realize that anything is possible!

One thing in the "news" that was the best memory of 2009 would be Obama becoming president. Even though i'm not American, I think it was a great accomplishment!

I really want to say when my boyfriend and I got together, i really feel like that changed my year for the better so much

but also my mission trip to south carolina over the summer, i met amazing people who i consider some of my closest friends, and it was just an incredible experience

hmm.... idk this is hard. 2209 wasnt my best year...

well we went to disney... we got a dvc and im going again in august!

I got my baby! lol. no i got a puppy a few weeks ago his name is duncan and he is amazingly perfect and i love him to death!

i made a lot of new friends... i lost a few though....

hmmm... i got my first solo in dance!

i think thats it....

my best memory of 2009 was when i moved out.

my dad and i drove up here in separate cars, with all of my stuff, and matt and his dad both drive trucks, so they carried all the heavy furniture since most of our furniture came from his house, and matt's mom and sister road in her car with the last few things he brought.

we signed the lease as soon as the office opened, and we got the keys and started unloading everything. it happened really really fast. and i remember there was one point where i was alone in the apartment, and everyone else was outside, and it really hit me then what we were doing.

we spent that day unpacking and finding all of our stuff out of the huge pile in the living room. we didn't unpack the last boxes till like a month later, lol. and we just recently got everything arranged in a way we like it.

we didn't have a lot of money, and sometimes i didn't know how we would make ends meet, but we did. and i'm happier than i've ever been. i love it here.

In November I got to see Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal perform in Rent twice along with getting to meet Anthony and get his autograph. It was the best week of my life!!!
