What is your *MUST DO* restaurant at MK?

EXCLUDING Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace, what ONE restaurant do you feel is a "must do" at MK. It can be CS or TS. Which ONE restaurant do you feel must be experienced at MK and why? It can be the food or the atmosphere.

I'm trying to decide what to do our last day at MK for lunch. Nothing sounds good, and we already have plans for CRT and CP earlier in the week.

Thanks in advance!

LTT for lunch only--not dinner. We really enjoy it! Rolls and butter used to be brought automatically, now you must request them!

Our only "must do" on any WDW vacation is to have a good time with the family. Yes we all have our preferences, but with so many to choose from, I'm booking as many new (to us) restaurants every trip as I can.

So far I'd say our favourite has been Chef de France and Boma. For character meals, 1900 park fare.

We always eat at the Plaza. Great choices, great ice cream & shakes. The chicken/strawberry salad is wonderful..even without the chicken.

Columbia Harbour House for my family. We generally dislike the Magic Kingdom table service options but always eat our first lunch of every trip at the Harbour House. Love that hummus sandwich!

We always have meal at Pecos Bill's. In fact that is about the only place we eat at at MK. Plenty of food at a decent price and the fixing bar is great. But since we have free dining this year we will be trying crystal palace.

Ours is Columbia Harbour House, too. Excellent food, and the quiet rooms upstairs are a little oasis from the action outside!

This is how we are too- LTT is good, but not special for us.

ours is Columbia Harbor House too. We love the tuna sandwich--the bread is healthy but still very good. Then we head off to get a dole-whip float.

Another vote for the Plaza. Once you go there is will be your must do!

Definitely Columbia Harbor House. Great food! and nice and quiet upstairs if you go early for lunch. We also loved bopping over to the Poly for counter service.

Columbia harbor house! Tony's was good too but not a must-do. But nothing can beat Crystal Palace

Our must do restaurant at the MK is the Columbia Harbor House! Sit upstairs by the windows overlooking the entrance to the Haunted Mansion and enjoy the view while you eat. It's usually MUCH quieter up there because so many people don't realize there is more seating upstairs.

We try not to eat fried food in our regular lives here at home, so getting a little taste of the stuff on vacation is quite a little treat. (And a shock to my arteries, I'm sure.)

The Plaza, hands down for us. We all love the food there. We've had consistently good meals there - plus we enjoy the atmosphere as well.

IMO all the restaurants in the magic kingdom suck including crystal palace. Never tried CRT so can't speak to that one. That said even though the food isn't great anywhere we always go to aloha isle for a dole whip float and also we go to cosmic rays for lunch for the chicken and rib combo...it isn't that it is that great but just that it is the most you can get for a counter service credit so we do it just to be gluttonous lol

We always have to eat at Columbia Harbor House!!! We love to sit upstaurs and watch the crowds walking below. One of our favorite CS restaurants!!! :goodvibes

I feel like a wet blanket even saying this, but my only "must do" when it comes to Magic Kingdom dining is to leave the park and enjoy a meal at one of the hotels on the monorail. I have tried most of the counter and table service spots in the Magic Kingdom and I'm not thrilled with any of them. My boyfriend might disagree with me to an extent. I'm sure he would tell you that a pineapple float from Aloha Isle is a must.

Sister and brother in law have to eat at Tony's town Square.. I can eat there but would like to see a menu change...for them is a must do. My must do is Le Cellier in Canada but it is going to two TS next March 2011 so will probably go back to Yachtsclub if going to use two TS :confused3

Interesting that you would say that! It is actually exactly what we usually do. I chose LTT--that is where I would eat if I had to stay in the MK--but I would prefer to have lunch at a monorail resort restaurant (Kona, The Wave, GFC) or even boat over to WCC.
