What combination of resorts do you like for split stays (or maybe alternating years)?? What two resorts would you recommend owning?
BWV and VGF for the Epcot/MK split. I also own at Poly but it only has studios and point-sucking bungalows, so it's not an ideal choice for people who like larger accommodations. However Poly2 could end up changing my mind and leap ahead of VGF.What combination of resorts do you like for split stays (or maybe alternating years)?? What two resorts would you recommend owning?
Poly, IMO, is the absolute worst for both pools (overcrowded and undersized) and food options (downhill for 10 years) on the MK loop. Miles behind GF and CR for both. WL is about equal to Poly with overcrowded undersized pools and lacking in food quality.Poly and Beach Club.
Best in MK and Epcot areas for pool, food options, and transportation.
Ironically I own VGF and BWV lol, which are a close second.
I don't think any WDW option for food is that great, and Poly and GF are so close that the food options are not a factor between them.Poly, IMO, is the absolute worst for both pools (overcrowded and undersized) and food options (downhill for 10 years) on the MK loop. Very interesting !Poly studio first for MK/Epcot then Riviera 1 or 2br second for DHS/Epcot.
Poly is the best resort on the monorail loop for young families imo.
We love the Skyliner and the crescent lake resorts don’t make financial sense to own at this point. That said…we scooped a few nights in a Boardwalk view 1br coming up.
Pretty much every trip is VGF and RIV. I may occasionally swap BLT for VGF. But that is pretty much it.
Now we are doing a RIV/SSR split in January but that is because we are doing a GV first and the last two nights at SSR because my guests are staying longer to do resort/DS day with no parks.
