What is the longest you have stayed at WDW on points?

We are going in Oct/Nov for 13 nights in a 1-bedroom. This will be is our longest stay to date.

We are booked for a 9 night stay in late May - early June. Really looking forward to relaxing in a VWL 1BR.

Last year (Jan. 2001), we stayed 12 days at OKW & 4 at VB! Then we had to return to snow!

Our longest was our 12/19/99 to 1/4/00 trip. We loved being "home" for Christmas, we loved being "home" for the Millennium.

We're going for a slightly shorter holiday stay this year. We'll arrive on 12/22 and leave on 1/4.

Gotta love those points! With 5 of us, it makes incredible vacations possible. We could never do this if we had to pay for a 2 bedroom at the regular Holiday rate.

Would love to stay more than 7 days...................., but it "ain't" going to happen until I retire;) ;) ;) ;) .....

We will be staying 12 nights this summer on our first DVC stay. We usually stay for this long since it is so far to drive. I would love to be able to take several trips instead of one real long one but the drive takes to much time. But I do love my the long trips as well.

Two glorious weeks in a one-bedroom at OKW ... all by myself. Talk about being relaxed and feeling like I was home. Wow, that was nice.

Hi everyone,

Do to the distance we have to travel to get to WDW we stay 14 nights to make it worthwhile. This sounds like great fun but after 14 days we are verrrrry tried, in fact on our last trip I flew back to the uk then on to Saudi Arabia all within 36 hrs.

My last stay has been my longest with DVC and at WDW. It was 14 nights. Most of my stays are 9-10 nights.

we stayed 9 night, everyone was ready to go home but me! I could have stay longer, but ya gotta go to work so you can plan the next trip!!:)

We also have a long drive so we try to make our stays at least a week...since my dh has to take at least a week off to even stay for 3-4 days. We're hoping to solve the problem by moving south sometime in the near future...cutting our drive in half at least.

Our longest (and only) DVC stay so far has been 12 nights. Our next trip is 9 nights so far...and if we add more it will most likely be on cash not points. I don't know if a stay longer than 2 weeks is likely for us anytime soon.....unfortunately dh has to work to pay for the trips:(

Being an engineer, I actually figured out that a 12 day stay gives you the most for your points (at least for a 2BR at OKW). Actually, the best deal is to only stay 5 nights, but if you decide to stay longer, the average points/night is the same for 6 nights as it is for 12 nights. After that, the average starts to creep upwards.

So we always try for the 12 night stay. Of course I'd like to stay longer, but there just aren't enough points for that (yet).

Our recent trips have all gotten longer and longer :)
May 2000 we stayed 7 nights. September 2001, also 7 nights. May 2001 was 9 nights. August 2001 was 7 nights (a little shorter than we would have liked, but we went without the kids) December 2001 was 12 nights. And for the forseeable future our trips will be 12 nights. Check in on a Sunday, leave the following week on Friday. :) The only thing that will really shorten those trips is a few days at VB or a cruise. :)
Glad to see that an engineer thinks our vacation plans are a sound use of points! Thx, Towncrier!
