thing to do when you workout? At the fitness center I belong to, they have a Queens chair which works your lower abs. I dont like it, I don't like it, I don't like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sad2:
 
Oh I have 2 things I despise. One is the pendelum swing w/ a 5 lb. weight. You do each arm one at a time. Bend your arm like you are signaling a left hand turn, with a weight in your hand. Then you swing your arm out and away from your body like a pendulem (sp?). It hurts like a @#$%^.

The other one I hate is the chest press. They have a machine for it, but being a paraplegic I can use it, so I have to do it with dumbells. Grr, I hate this one. It kills my left shoulder.
 
I do Jazzercise, and I hate when they say, "Get your bands, we're going to work the arms!" I HATE THE BAND!!! I got my hair tangled up in it once...
 
Anything that makes me sweat.

I have no idea what it's called but it's a stand thing where you place your arms on these bars and bend your legs up, supporting all your weight with your abs. I simply cannot do it! It's part of the women's circuit routine (like Curves) at my YMCA and I absolutely HATE when I get to that apparatus!
 
I think the ab machines are the worst for me too. I don't mind working on any other machine, but the one for the abs is the worst!!! Abs are the hardest muscle for me to work on.
 
I know most will think I am crzy, but I hate elliptical machines! They just don't feel natural to me. Give me a treadmill or stationary bike any day!

I hate squats. I do these supporting a weight bar on my shoulders, and I do it first in my workout usually. When I'm done, my heart's pounding, my legs hurt and I'm all sweaty. Then I have to do the rest of my workout.

we have those too. It irks me becuae a lot of women there will use it to read in and just read :confused3 Hey, this place isnt the library!
 
I refuse to work the abs...you could put a cupcake between my knees and I still wouldn't do a sit-up.

I usually do a lot of free weights (well, I did before Christmas, MUST get myself back to the gym! :blush: ) and the exercise I hate the most is the benchpress. I hate you benchpress!!! AHHHH!!!! Ok, feels better to let that out. :teeth: I also hate lunges. The first time I did it I overdid it. I was walking funny for a couple days. :rotfl:

"pick me up" is right!! I will be fast asleep!! I refuse to start working out until I retire - I think I do quite enough now, thank you very much :furious:
