Who voted Magic Kingdom???

Sounds like they didn't have a very magical day..

MK-it's the icon for us. Magic Kingdom IS Disney World.
Epcot-attractions stale, but the different entertainment in each country makes it an interesting trip every time.
DHS-by far our 14 year old son's favorite park. During a 4 park day trip, we spend 1 1/2 here. My wife can sit in Idol all day too.
Animal Kingdom-once you've seen the shows, you've seen them. Like that the safari is different everytime.

Bad to good for this family. We normally do 4 park days.
AK-1/2day
Epcot-1/2-1 day
MK-1 day
DHS1 1/2 days

I love them all, but if forced to choose I'd pick Animal Kingdom just because it's so poorly laid out.

I completely am okay with people voting AK because they don't like animals or if they're totally into ride-style attractions or because they think it's hotter there.

But, I really don't understand the "not laid out well". I don't get that at all. It's a hub and spike model. You know, like the Magic Kingdom.

Is the issue that the trail from point A to point B is not a geometric shape, like the walkways at MK or Epcot?

I mean, really, if one is going to complain about a park that's poorly laid out, I have no idea how you don't vote for the studios.

Mine is AK, but Epcot is my kids least favorite (although Epcot is my second favorite lol).

HS for sure...could skip it. MK and Epcot are our faves and AK is up there too but only need to do a partial day there each trip...whereas Epcot and MK are parks we could hit a couple times each trip. We still always pop into HS, but it's a pretty quick visit and if we had to eliminate a park, it would easily be HS.

Tough question. Though we liked the rides and attractions, would have to vote for DHS because of the layout. Too much back and forth going from one thing to the next. Add a crowded day, and it gets really ugly!

I'll admit it I don't like MK as much as the rest. AK has EE, awesome. I love animals, too, so it appeals to me greatly. DHS has RNR, ToT, drawing classes, TSM, Star Tours. Not much I don't like about it. Epcot is by far my fave.

MK just doesn't have the it factor for me. We don't have kids, and a lot of the stuff just doesn't have the same appeal. PotC, Peter Pan, SM, HM, BTMRR, etc., and those kinds of attractions are certainly nostalgic, and I love them for that, but I could live without them. We always hit MK first to get it out of the way, and then spend the majority of our time at other parks. We enjoy what we like at MK very much, but there just isn't as much for us there as there is at the other parks.

It use to be Hollywood studios but now Animal Kingdom. I just feel like it is so much hotter, lines are longer and it takes forever to walk anywhere...

We were even considering skipping it on our next trip but then we finally decided to do a half day

Voted for (against?) DHS. Not that I hate it. I don't. Its just the lowest of the 4 parks on my list.

DHS is our least favorite. But has one of the best rides ever, RNR! Kids just aren't that into DHS and neither are my wife and I .

I love WDW in general and do not skip any parks on our trips. But having said that I would have to say that AK is my least favorite park. I do not care for the way it is laid out (kind of a pain to get from one side to the other). There are shows and atrractions I enjoy that keep me coming back to the park but I really don't enjoy the main part of the park : the animals lol. I know it is a different atmosphere than a zoo but at its core that is what it is. I grew up going to zoos and were never all that interested in them. I always preffered Sea World growing up (before they closed the 1 in Ohio) as I am more of a marine life kind of person. So for me, there isn't as much for me to enjoy compared to the other parks.

For us it used to be DHS, but lately it's been AK. Probably because the girls are finally able to ride some of the DHS rides, and you don't have to walk as far as you do in AK.

And even though AK is larger, there just seems to be more to do in DHS.

I love all 4 and really couldn't choose one I like the least. There's something about every park that I LOVE!!! :goodvibes

If someone told me that I could only go to three parks, then AK would be the one I would skip. It is the most poorly designed park I ever saw, especially considering that it was designed last, after they already knew what worked and what didn't. :crazy2: It is very difficult to get around in it. The place is like a maze. I can never figure out where I am when I exit the safari ride. You can't see anything in the distance, which makes it very claustrophobic. I don't think we have ever stayed more than half a day there.

But HS is right up there in the least favorite category.

Without a doubt its DHS. the place is a mess of theming and abandoned soundstages and deflated attractions

Without hesitation...DHS (though it's my husband's really likes it because his favorite rides are there). I think the layout is odd and confusing. The way the shows are timed makes it hard to see them all (or even a few for that matter), which frustrates me. I feel like I get less done/seen in this park than the others. The QS and the TS here are our least favorites. The theme doesn't appeal to me either, and overall I'm done in a half day and ready to leave. We still go and spend a full day there, but I don't find it as enjoyable as the other parks at all.

AK, hands down. I'm just not that interested in most of it, and there's just something about the layout that always makes it feel more crowded than the other parks.

Now that I think, it could be the trails, yes. But for me the entire park can be a leafy prison-and I *like* the park mostly. I just don't like it when I'm hot and tired and my feet hurt, a situation that doesn't bother me so much at the other parks...maybe this is because of all the trees. It can feel endless at AK, like if you go around the corner thinking you've almost made it and find *another* long stretch greets you.

The studios, while also not the model of efficiency, are much smaller and with not so much foliage. I don't feel like I should have brought a machete to whack away the underbrush to get out.

Animal Kingdom, I've only been to it once and it's really humid, nobody really cares about the animal exhibits (I actually like Animals), and it's a waste of time.

Meanwhile I can remember a lot of good Memories from DHS, I'm surprised this place is getting a lot of hate here.

I love all the parks for different reasons, but if I had to say which one I could pass on for a trip it would be Animal Kingdom....it's the only park where I don't ride anything (I will ride on Kali, if the lines aren't too long)....I like the shows (and that is what I do when the rest of the family are on the rides)...but I find that I spend most of my time just walking around....I think it's beautiful park, but not all that exciting to me.
