What is your LEAST favorite restaurant at WDW

Morroco and, unfortunately, Sci-Fi Drive Inn. Love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi, but the food last time we went in August was inedible.

San Angel Inn-
Not because of the food but because of the service. We had them seemingly nice server. She saw that we didn't like our salsa, so she asked if we would like some guacamole dip, we agreed. Well, after that, we rarely saw her. She didn't refill drinks, except for one time, and only one drink.

It took forever to get/pay for the bill. We were on the DDP. Once we did everything, and we were back at the resort, I noticed on the receipt that she charged us for the dip, which was yucky, and it was charged to our room, which wasn't supposed to have charges. So when I go to the front desk to straighten this out, she had also charged a 20% tip onto our room, and we had left her a cash tip. They ended up taking everything off and fixed the tickets where we couldn't charge.

So we're NOT eating here for a very long time. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!! If I hadn't, she would have ended up with over $30.... for being a crappy and dishonest waitress!!!!!!!!!!!!

Foodwise... Tony's Town Square was not good... at all.

another vote for chefs de france. i am GF and was actually pleased with most of the food i got and always with the service. here they made such a fuss about it by ignoring it and saying yeh um sure you can get that i asked for a manager because i thought the server did not understand my english (or french b/c i tried that too). the first year i got the driest chicken and potato's ever. the second year i got the driest salmon ever and the tomato sauce was like canned tomato sauce with no seasoning or flavor. i also remember they didnt have anything good for dessert for me and stuck me with sorbet.

i don't care how cute remy is, i will avoid that place at all costs in the future. generally i have somewhat low expectations when i disney. i want a few good meals but expect the food to be on par with chain restaurants. this food was so bad i did not even come close to finishing the meals and left hungry.

Worst Counter Service: ABC Commisary (due to the food)
Worst Table Service: Tusker House (due to rude service and it's a clustered disaster of a character meal)

My worst meal was Hollywood and Vine but my DS (9) who is very picky and barely ate anything last year (even lost a couple of pounds) had 2 plates of food:eek:

Rose & Crown hands down. None of us liked a single thing we got. We left there looking for CS food...FAST.

Chef Mickey's is a close second these days. It used to be so much better. I mean, it's a buffet of course, so that means it's not ever going to be great shakes. But the food has gotten beyond disgusting, service incredibly poor in not checked on or getting a single refill for beverages (he always looked hurried). I HOPE they change it so we can return again. I don't think it'll happen tho.

We almost always give each restaurant the benefit of the doubt that if we had a bad time or food or both, it may have been an off day and we almost always try it again. But we'll not bother w/ Rose & Crown, There was nothing remotely redeeming that we'd want to drop a honey-bee on dinner again and leave to search out some CS food we liked better.

Garden Grill

Ew Ew Ew... I threaten to take DH there if he starts getting cranky :rotfl:

My least fave was Sci Fi Theatre - I had the shrimp something or another and it was bleh.... my husband had the rib bye and he didn't care for it. The oreo milkshake was to die for though lol..they've got THAT right.

Well is seems almost, if not all restaurants have been named as the worst....and I am sure if you asked what is your best?..every restaurant would be named again.

All it proves is everyone has a different personal tastes in food and theming!

(P.S. Of course there can sometimes be a off/ not good meal.......I just think its a shame to say your NEVER going back to give it a 2nd chance based on 1 meal!)

Just IMHO

AKK

I was reading this, saying the same thing to myself! haha Some of the place's people hate, I always go to on each trip (LTT, Tony's, Coral Reef, Chef Mickey, etc.) and enjoy them and will be going to on my next trip!

The only "bad" meal I have had is at Pizza Planet, just didn't like the pizza all that much. But I usually stick to pretty basic food (steak, cheeseburger, etc) can't go wrong with most of those!

Hollywood and Vine dinner. I keep thinking of making a character breakfast ADR there next time but the food was so yuck that I don't know if I care to, even for the characters..

We were very disappointed in Artist's Point at WL...and it was 2 TS down the drain! Meat was undercooked to our orders, service was slow and not very accommodating for children (a party of 8 with 5 kids)....maybe we over anticipated. See my review on AllEars.

after just one bad experience but those that have earned the dreaded three strikes for us are:

O Hana'-terrible service three consecutive trips, took forever to get refills on the meat items then they were cold...do love the sesame wings and salads
Tony's-just plain awful food....tasted like Chef boy arde
San Angel Inn-food and service both seriously lacking

We miss the days when Disney operated their own restaurants and too pride in the food they serve.

La Hacienda.

We were seated by the entrance with no hope of a good view. Queso fundito was good and my BIL spinach salad was good. My Dad's steak was overseasoned and underdone. My Mon's fish was very bland. My sampler did not have beef just two awful dry pulled pork and one chicken. My husband's pork tenderloin tasted like pork with chocolate sauce. My BIL's chicken was dry. Rice was dry, black beans OK. My sister had the fried shrimp taco's that were OK once you removed the 1/2 head of shredded cabbage on top. The salsa was too spicey for my parents and we were told there was no mild.

We will never go back because we we told only 9 and under could order off the kids menu but they let us anyway. The kids got a tiny portion of the dry rice, a ton of green beans and two very dry beef taco's. Taco Bell's are better but still even the kids meals were $9 and they didn't eat them. I would have been really ticked if they had gotten and not eaten a $25 dinner.

There is nothing on the menu for adults who are picky. We only went because my parents can't stand up any length of time and I wanted them to sit and watch Illuminations. There was no way from where we were sitting that we would be able to see anything so we left.

Having sampled most of the menu, we will never go back.

The Cantina out front has better food.

Multiple trips, many restaurants, all 5 family family members agree - Mama Melrose is really bad

we always hear about the best places to eat what about the worse ones.
for us sci fi is one.

We actually get a kick out of Sci Fi. Our worst - by far - is Shutters at Caribean Beach. AWFUL!!
