What is your least favorite household chore??

Toilets.

I live with 3 males that have bad aim.

Definately toilets....

I hate mopping and folding laundry and putting it away. Right now we have a pile of laundry on the loveseat in our livingroom that we affectionately refer to as 'Mount Laundry' . I am lucky though, at least my DH has a sense of humor about my dislike of doing housekeeping.

Probably the ultimate worse is the bathtub. My arms ache afterwards. It doesn't help that we have 3 full bathrooms!!! A close second is the toliet - I like the results & it's quick, but THE SMELL. (House full of "men" here too!)

I can't complain about the laundry - DH does it most of the time.

But the one household chore I can't stand doing is the bathrooms. Yuch Yuch Yuch.

I thought I was the only person that did that. I hate putting away whites - you know....socks and underwear - so we end up living out of the laundry basket for days until I get the desire to sort the socks and put them away.

Well it used to be my bathroom but now that it's remodeled it's probably the cleanest room in the house.

I would have to say the kitchen floor. I don't know why but that has always been my least favorite along with putting the clean clothes away!

Picking up my kids toys. It seems like a never ending job. As soon as I get one room done they (especially my DS2) have the rest of the house a disaster.

OK, in order of most hated to least hated...here they are:

1)Planning the evening meal and then gathering the stuff and cooking it. Hate that! Wish somebody would just hand me a schedule and tell me to cook off of it. It seems like I'm always making the same things and nobody at my house likes anything fancy so I can't experiment too much.

2)Mopping the floors! I've been known to get on my hands and knees and wipe up large areas of the tile in order to avoid actually mopping.

3)Putting the laundry away.

Doing the baseboards in the house every week . HATE it , wont do it anymore . Housekeeper does them and we seem to both like it that way . She likes the way she doesnt have to do to much to our bedrooms so she says it is a fair trade

How about washing the dog? I hate doing that.
A close second would be anything to do with the kitchen. That is definately not my room in the house. I hate doing dishes, I hate sweeping, mopping, wiping the counters, cleaning the fridge, stove, everything!
I love doing laundry, I love cleaning the living room and dusting.

I hate ironing. I don't mind doing the laundry, but I just hate ironing. I would hate cleaning the bathrooms even more, but DH does that.

Hear, hear Tassie. I would rather wear something wrinkled than pull out the iron. DH does his own if he needs something pressed.
My least favorite chores are sorting socks, and putting away the clean dishes.

The actual act of vaccuuming I don't mind, but vaccumming the stairs is another thing all together. It is such a back breaker - hate it, hate it, hate it!!!!!!!!!!!
