Dh will only have one day to spend with us at the parks, and he chose Universal, so I thought I'd try to have somewhere good picked out to eat at, so that our day will be a little nicer than when we just grab something fast and unplanned. Thanks!
My personal favorite is Lombard's Landing in the Fisherman's Wharf area of SF in US. Have yet to have anything from the menu that I did not like - geared towards seafood but a variety of other dishes also - great setting on the water; cylindrical fish tank in the middle.
Most other places in US are good enough, but this to me is the best dining experience they have to offer in the park. Have eaten at other places in US; Finnegans is more of a noisy bar/restaurant type place with decent food. Monster Cafe - heavily themed (which I love) but busy & noisy; but not somewhere I would go to sit and relax for a nice meal. LL - Great food; great atmosphere - Enjoy!
I agree with JoAnn. At US my favorite restaurant is Lombard's Landing. It is more upscale than the other restaurants there. Very comfortable, good service, and we have always had wonderful meals there.
Thanks! I wanted to eat at Lombard's last time, but it was just too dang hot to eat a big meal. I had the shrimp appetizer at Finnegan's instead and it was surprisingly pretty good.
(I'm used to the Disney boards, where if you asked this, you'd get complete details down to prices and drinks, LOL.)
