What is Your Favorite Disney Movie???

My favorite is Peter Pan. I just love Captain Hook. I really liked Return to Neverland as well.

Surely I can't be the only one who prefers Skeleton Jack? NBC is so under-represented at WDW. I don't want Jack to take over the Haunted Mansion but would instead prefer a coaster at Hollywood Studios.

It's a perfect theme for two holiday periods. Sit yourself in Lock, Shock and Barrel's bath-tub and go for a ride through Halloween Town to Christmas Town and back again while taking in the sights and listening to the superb soundtrack.

All together now -

'This is Halloween, this is Halloween. Pumpkins scream in the dead of night.'

'What's this? What's this? There's something very wrong. What's this? What's this? There's people singing songs'

TREASURE PLANET! I'm probably the only one on here who adores this movie. The combination of the story, characters, and animation just blew me away. Hunchback and Aladdin for close seconds.

Non-animated is NEWSIES! It is the most underrated Disney movie ever. The music, singing, dancing, and characters are amazing and though it has become a cult classic, Newsies still needs the recognition from Disney it deserves.

I also remember the 30 minute cartoons after school. Tail Spin, the one with Uncle Scrooge and the three nephews, and Chip and Dale. I loved watching anything done by Disney!:thumbsup2

I watched Disney Afternoon for years! TaleSpin is the most awesome Disney cartoon ever! Who would have thought a cartoon would be about a middle-aged cargo pilot in the 1930's takes in an orphaned boy who was involved in air pirate. That should so be made into a movie. ;)

Ducktales! :donald: Rescue Rangers! My childhood is calling...

Lady and The Tramp. The perfect movie--good family (Jim dear and Darling), good friends(Trusty and Jock), great food(meatballs and spaghetti), adorable puppies and romance. What more can you ask for in a movie?

Yay! I'm not the only one who liked that movie!

For me, picking one movie is next to impossible, but I hold Mulan very close to my heart. Mostly it's because of my fascination with ancient folklore, and the first paper I ever presented in a literary conference just happened to be on the ballad of Fa Mulan.

Tied for second place is Hercules, Wall-E, and Brother Bear.

One favorite? No way.

I'll just say Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beast, Pocahontas and Pirates of the Caribbean. Today. ;)

I would have to say Beuaty and the Beast! Me and my neice have been dieing to meet the BEAST at epcot! We know we will meet him some day! Because disney can make that magic!:wizard:

Hercules - Who put the glad in gladiator?

Lion King - Are you achin', (yep, yep, yep) for some bacon? (Yep, yep, yep.) He's a big pig (yep, yep, yep). You can be a big pig too!

Up - the musical montage of Carl & Ellie's married life makes me cry every time.

Pocahontas - historically incorrect but I love the music. Colors of the Wind is my fave!

I'm going to go with the popular fave and say Beauty and the Beast. My friends were ASTOUNDED when I could recite the entire 'story' introduction in the movie by heart. :rotfl:

I also <3 The Emperor's New Groove. I wish this movie had gotten more popular because it is HILARIOUS!

Non animated Movies: I think only one other person said it, but I love The Ugly Dachshund, so sweet! and the recent chronicles of narnia are fantastic (thank you disney for giving us ben barnes and all his sexiness! lol)

Man this is way too hard so I have to break it into catagories.
Bedknobs and Broomsticks and TRON are competing for best film.
Best pixar has to go to UP. I still cry through the 5 minute montage where his wife dies:sad1:
Since Disney bought all the Miyazaki films my favorite is Spirited Away, but for Traditional Disney classics I think Beauty and the Beast.

Wow, so many greats..

Up- I cry every time- awesome montage
Emperor's New Groove- funniest,hands down
Beauty and the Beast
Little Mermaid
Cinderella- the original

It is so hard to pick- I see, looking at my quick list, that I have a penchant for princesses, or a sappy love-story?

Favorite : Beauty and the Beast

Runner-ups :
The Lion King
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Aladdin
The Little Mermaid

The Lion King - Simply the best animated film ever!
The Lion King 2 - I love Kovu :)
