What is your favorite Christmas or Holiday songs?

One of our local radio stations have been playing Christmas songs all weekend for all those Christmas shoppers running around this weekend, my DW being one of them at the mall today, buying DD her gifts.

My newer favorite Christmas song is "Mary, Did You Know" by Mark Lowry.

My all time favorite is "Silent Night."

I have 2 favorites I Love, One Little Christmas tree by Stevie Wonder and Do you hear what I hear? I think that is the name of it.

There is also one on Vince Gills Christmas CD that I love but I can't remember the name of it!

I just remembered one more that just totally cracks me up...I think its called something like The 12 Things At Christmas That Are Such A Pain To Me. It has this guy that kinda sounds like Archie Bunker singing about crowds and crying children and putting up the Christmas lights...its a riot. Does anyone else know this song??

"The 12 Pains Of Christmas" That song totally described me trying to put up Christmas lights my freshman year of college. Some of the lines were exactly what I said too. Even B4 I heard the song.

What Heather said!!!! It's not Christmas for me if I don't sing 'Lo, How a Rose....' on Christmas Eve. Looks like someone else likes what my 27 y/o dd calls 'churchy' music!!! 'For unto us a child is born, unto us, a son is given........' You gotta love Handel!!

We are Christmas nuts around here, in fact DH and I were just discussing how late Thanksgiving is this year, and how we think we should put the trees up before Turkey Day this year.

My absolute favorite Christmas album is Harry Connick, Jr's. My absolute favorite Christmas song is When My Heart Finds Christmas from that album. A close second is the entire Carpenter's Christmas album, especially Sleigh Ride. I also really like the 98 degrees Christmas album, and the song This Gift (or something). This is a great thread!!
