What is your Epcot touring plan with Soarin closed?

Previously at rope drop, it seemed like half of the crowd went to Soarin and the other half to Test Track at rope drop. Things were pretty crazy and last time it was me, my husband and two kids who were tall enough to ride. We were at the front of the pack and were able to get on Test Track pretty quickly, but by the time we got out the line was pretty long.

This time we are going in a few weeks and Soarin will be closed. We also will have 9 people including a stroller, baby we need to get baby swap pass for etc. I did get a fastpass for Test Track, and am not sure we want to brave the crowds rushing to Test Track for another ride.

Wondering what everyone else does for their priorities. What is your touring plan for Epcot, and where do you head first if not Test Track. We do have fastpasses for spaceship earth and character spot also.

If we go back during that time we really won't do much different than usual, but will definitely try to either get a FP for Test track or get there really early

do you all expect the new Elsa and Anna great and the Norway ride to be top tier fast passes?

We'll be there in 8 days(!) for a day before our cruise. We're not arriving at EP until early afternoon. DW & I are going mainly for WS, but we'll do SE, TT (for which we have FPs), Sum of All Thrills and LWTL before moving over.

Ride TT twice (RD AM EMH & FP+), Spaceship Earth twice (RD AM EMH & FP+). Basically do everything twice to fill time until WS opens:) I really debated hard on our 3rd FP+. I think I am going to Turtle Talk. It was that or Nemo. I would have done FP+ for Mission Space Orange, but it's tier 1 now. Hoping to do it at RD on AM EMH and then get a 4th FP+ or do it much later again.

I'm heading there next week.
My plan is relying on my Test Track fp+ and hopping on Living with the Land as my first ride of the day.

I hope the speculation of the Land pavilion being emptier is true since LwtL is my favorite ride!

Our plan for Friday is to FP+ TT 10-11 am and throw Figment, Spaceship Earth, and Mexico in there. We also have a character FP that we might use. Then eat a few snacks in WS or just leave.

I love Spaceship Earth. One kid loves Figment. We all like TT. We have always been rope droppers, but don't see much point at Epcot these days.

We'll get FP+ for Test Track, preferably from 10am to 11am. Because we are staying at BWV, we'll enter at the International Gateway (IG) at rope drop, and head to Future World. Since we are coming from the IG, my plan would be to start at Imagination and go clockwise so that we get to Test Track during our FP+ timeframe. After TT, we would visit World Showcase. Flower and Garden will be going on, so we'll have plenty to do in WS.

We'll do the easter egg hunt on easter if they do it this year and in march we'll check out the wine in the garden show. other than that, we didn't really go to epcot unless we were dining somewhere.

I adore lwtl..it's great.
No one in my family agrees though.

Ride TT twice (RD AM EMH & FP+), Spaceship Earth twice (RD AM EMH & FP+). Basically do everything twice
Since Maelstrom closed we've done Gran Fiesta Tour twice each time to make up for it

Ours is to head to MK or AK instead. There just isn't enough that interests us.

June will be our first stay at BWV. Is the entry from IG any different at rope drop? Do you feel like it's an advantage since it's a smaller entrance or is it still pretty packed?

We'll be heading to Sum of All Thrills first (grandkids will want to do it twice), and will do Test Track only once with FP+.

Without soarin we have decided to do AK in the morning and do Epcot for evening. Without having an E ticket ride to run to in the morning rope drop isn't a top priority. I kind of like it! :)

There's other things you can do that a lot of people don't notice... for us, we had been there multiple times before even thinking of doing the Pick a Pearl. Now we've done it the last two trips!

Unfortunately, I don't know yet. Our trip in April will be our first time staying at an Epcot resort as well. Really looking forward to it as it is on my bucket list.

I haven't done it. However, from reading the board and the Unofficial Guide, it sounds like it's not good. If they let you in at the same time as the main gate, then you have to walk all the way to Future World, so you are automatically behind. I have also read that sometimes IG is slower to get through in the morning, because there are less people working it. Plus, the main gate sometimes opens a bit early, but IG does not always.
