Needing recipes for items that are easy to make, easy to transport, and great sellers at a bake sale.

I must be tired because I read this as suggestions for treats you can bake in an Easy Bake oven and sell. My first thought was, "Wouldn't that take forever?"

Cookies bought en masse from Albertson's. Chocolate Chip are particularly liked. . .

Cupcakes, but I like to make them really fancy so they stand apart from the others. Fill the paper cups full enough so they'll rise up nice and high. I use a piping bag to frost them so I can make them swirly. I also use colored frosting, sprinkles and sometimes little plastic decorations. I have this weird competitive streak when it comes to baking. We have an annual neighborhood bake sale at Christmas time. I try to make the best cupcakes and get a strange level of satisfaction when my cupcakes sell out first. Last year, a few people were on to me and they also came with fancy cupcakes. This year, I'm plotting on how I'm going to up my game! Yes, I'm joking (mostly), but really nice cupcakes are easy to make and usually go quickly at bake sales.

Toll House bar cookies. Use the basic chocolate chip cookie recipe, spread batter in a 9x9 pan, bake and cut like brownies.

Would you share your frosting recipe if you don't mind. I am not good at piping :(.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Keep them coming :goodvibes

I totally thought the same thing! So confused before the actual title processed.

Anyway, I make pumpkin apple streusel bread (old recipe from Gourmet magazine) in mini-loaf pans for bake sales. Little loaves of things always seem to sell well at our fundraisers.

If I am feeling really motivated, I make dog biscuits (peanut butter, cheddar, and bacon) cut out with a dog-bone shaped cutter. I bring scraps to give as samples to any dogs that appear at our sales - one bite for the dog and the owners ALWAYS buy the cookies - and the dogs are always happy to see me in the future!

Does anyone have recipes to share? Would like to try to make some items to test out before the sale.

I suggest brownies or cupcakes.

I actually just use store bought canned frosting! I have a piping bag with a set of tips. I choose a swirly one. Start piping on the outside edge of the cupcake and go around in a circle until you reach the center. End with a little swirl in the middle. Choose a fairly thick tip so you don't have to go around too many times. Try practicing on cutting board or piece of waxed paper a few times.

At a fundraising meeting at my DD's school one if the students said that Costco's muffins sell out. They ask $1 for each of those large muffins. Also Costco croissants are a big seller. I don't remember what they get for those.

For our last bake sale I made large pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate with sprinkles. I put them in the pretzel rod bags and tied the bottom with ribbon. They sold out FAST!!:thumbsup2

I'm planning on making those, but not sure if I can find almond bark or the wafer chocolates, so will see how my chocolate melting goes. How much did you sell them for?
