What is your easy bake sale treat?

I'm planning on making those, but not sure if I can find almond bark or the wafer chocolates, so will see how my chocolate melting goes. How much did you sell them for?

I think just $1.50 each, but they would have sold for more. :) what are they at Disney, like $4.00? Lol

Pound cakes sold like crazy too!!

rice krispie treats here too! we make them for everything. sometimes we use jimmies to add color (school colors or sports teams). aside from being easy to make they can be packaged up almost immediately....great for when you don't feel like making anything the night before! lol

We had a bake sale today at a band competition, and I made up bags of chex mix. They sold out pretty early.

When I was the bake sale mom the biggest sellers were rice krispy treats made from fruity pebbles cereal. The kids just loved how colorful they were.

And as some other poster mentions the chocolate covered pretzels rods.

I just saw a recipe for making the little regular pretzels dipped in orange colored white chocolate and then putting a green m and m on the top and they looked like pumpkins. Cute. Also easy nutter butter cookies dipped in white chocolate and little black icing for ghosts if you are looking for halloween type stuff. '

I am sure you will have to keep allergy stuff in mind.

Thank you sounds like some very cute Halloween treats. Unfortunetly the sale will be after Halloween.

The bake sale is geared more towards adults, but I am open to all suggestions. There are always other bake sales, and ocassions that we need to make desserts for.

Puppy chow---I believe the "politically correct" term is now muddy buddies.

I use the recipe on the back of the Chex cereal box ! So good!

Is that the same thing as white trash? Who comes up with these names anyway? :lmao:

Chocolate no bake cookies seem to go well. Put 3 in a bag.
I would love the recipe Please:)
How much did you 3 cookies for?
For our last bake sale I made large pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate with sprinkles. I put them in the pretzel rod bags and tied the bottom with ribbon. They sold out FAST!!:thumbsup2

How much did you sell the rods for??

I'm keeping a list for DD. Thanks :)

Rice Krispie treats.

This.

I like to mix them up. Make an assortment of types.

M&M stir ins
Salted Caramel (cookiesandcups.com recipe)
Chocolate Krispies
peanut butter cup
chubby hubby (see thesweetslife.com for recipe)
cookies and cream (add oreos)

I always do rice krispie treats. I'm a purist so I don't add anything into the them, I just drizzle some cookie icing on top for color.

RK treats are always a big seller here.

individual mini cheesecakes.

get jello instant no bake cheesecake mix. instead of doing the crust, take vanilla wafers and put one inside a cupcake wrapper (do not crumble/leave whole), spoon the prepared mix in and refrigerate. top with a cherry (canned pie filling type). I've seen these done with full size cupcake wrappers as well as the mini ones (when you can find the mini nilla wafers).
these always sold out-and very easy to transport.

smore treats-use the same recipe as rice krispy treats only substitute golden grahams cereal and toss in (at the end, after cooking is done) a handful of mini chocolate chips.

I think the difference is white trash uses white chocolate and puppy chow uses milk chocolate.

Drive to fabulous local cupcake shop, purchase fabulous cupcakes and donate them to bake sale = #1 seller at the bake sale. :lmao:

Scotcharoos sell even faster than the Rice Krispie treats here.

Another easy treat that makes a huge batch is something we call "crack" corn. Need to find a nicer name for it :rotfl::rotfl:

Take a bag of butter flavored puff corn, about 7-8 ounces. This kind of looks like a yellow puffy cheeto, place in your largest bowl. don't use regular popcorn with hulls. Melt an entire package of white almond bark, pour over puff corn, stir to coat, then spread out on waxed paper to cool. Repeat with a 2nd bag of puff corn and chocolate almond bark. Break apart when cool if necessary, mix the flavors and package in sandwich ziplocs. Sell for $1 a bag. Easy and gluten free.

Cheesecakes with a chocolate chip cookie crust. Super easy, use nestles break and bake cookies.

I just made these for my daughters cheering squad "team bonding" night last night. I sprinkled a few chocolate chips on the top instead of using the cherry pie filling.
Huge hit. I picked her up and her coaches came over to tell me they needed the recipe.

Whenever I make them for gatherings I usually do half with the cherries and half without(sometimes plain, sometimes with chocolate chips).
