Great firework show at Magic Kingdom. Get a good spot if possible facing the Castle from Main Street.

we're probably only going to have enough time for 1 fireworks show. someone also mentioned that epcot has a good one. which would you recommend, epcots or the MK one? are they both as crowded as each other? thanks

Epcot's Illuminations -- fireworks, pure fire, fountains, lights, music, WOW!

If you have kids, they would like Fantasmic better at MGM...all the characters are there, and all the seats have good views...at least I'm pretty sure they do.

Thats actually a good question. And having seen both EPCOTs Illuminations and MK's Wishes many many many times, i still can't decide which i like better. I would say that Wishes is more crowded because it has limited viewing locations, while Illuminations can be seen all around World Showcase which is larger if you were to view Wishes from Main Street or somewhere else. My advise, get to wishes 20 minutes before it starts and do the same for Illuminations as both will fill up quickly. I like the music better for Illuminations. You will have to decide for yourself which you like better. Have fun and good luck!

If I could only see one, I would see "Wishes" every time. It's my absolute very favorite! The fireworks, the castle, the music - just perfect Disney magic.

My order of preference would be -

1. Wishes
2. Fantasmic
3. Illuminations

There is just something so special about Wishes & hearing Jimminy Cricket telling a story. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

All three shows are great. Nobody does fireworks and magic better than Disney. I wish there was a way you could experience all three. My DH loved the fireworks and I think it really added to the magic of our trip. Personally, I like Wishes. DH like Illuminations. We both agree that fantasmic is a must see!
