I see people refer to wishes here. Could someone please let me know what/where it is? Is it something we would like to bring a 7 year old boy to? Thanks.

Wishes is the latest (and best) fireworks show that normally closes the Magic Kingdom. Everyone, regardless of age, loves this nightly spectacular.

So if the park closes at 11PM, the show would be around that time?

Generally, if the park closes at 11 then Wishes is at 10. Also a don't miss is the nighttime parade Spectromagic. Most nights when the park closes at 11 there are two Spectros-one at 9 and one at 11. We like to catch Wishes at 10 and then wait for the second Spectro as it generally not as crowded as the first.

As long as you can see the castle you will have a great view of Wishes. People start picking out spots early all around the castle are so be aware. In June we came from the Frontierland area and took a back path to the side of the castle. It was not crowded at all in this location.

The walkway to Frontierland from Main Street is a great place to watch. It looks like the fireworks go off right above the castle. From Fantasyland it didn't have the same effect for me as the fireworks went off opposite the castle.

THE BEST fireworks show anywhere, ever!!! I am kind of biased, but I get goosebumps every time I see Wishes and Tink flying over my head... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
