What is up with the AWFUL smell?

I now what you are taking about! It is the new fertlizer for the plants they use! It is all natural and does include eggs, cow ****, decaying plant matter, etc. It helps to recycle!
THANKS!

We have also smelled stinky smells. I think it's some of the plants used in landscaping. We use marigolds around our house to keep the mosquitoes away and those plants really stink!:scared:

I'm a former sewage inspector and if it is a septic smell, there is NO health hazard in it. If so, I would be long since dead. More than likely pockets of sulfurous or phorphoric area. Both are rich in FL soils and in some water supplies.

Maybe the issus is with your sinus cavity? Maybe now that you have have your sense of smell back, everything is really strong to you and your sinus has not adjusted to take in the real smells? Kind of like when you are sick and everything has a funny smell?

I would have thought that..except my whole group smelled it....Believe me...it's unbelievable to finally be able to smell again....But, then...you get the bad with the good!

In fact...when I wrinkled up my nose...another woman near by said, "I know, I smell it, too..." :rotfl: My fourteen year old granddaughter also said something about it....Otherwise...yes..The first thing I would think of was the increase in my sense of smell....

Maybe it was the fertilizer....Sure was really strong!

In 15 trips, I've never smelt anything like that.

I had heard that a great gust of wind came through and past over the cow pasture where they had just eaten fresh hay - Phew!!!!:confused3

Or maybe it was the 3 wieners with beans that I had!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Then again, this thread rots!:dance3:

Ha! Ha! Ha!:flower3:

I've always noticed it walking between the Contemporary and the MK. I like the walk because it's a good walk after a nice dinner at Chef Mickey's or the California Grill. But when you hit that one spot the smell is pretty bad.

Yep! We smelt it too on our last trip. It was SO bad, it was overpowering. We put our faces in our shirts and breathed through our mouths and we could still smell it! :scared:

We also smelt a disgusting smell near the pool at ASmovies last August, while walking from the main building to our building. YUCK!

That's about it though.

I've been 15 trips and I don't remember smelling any bad smells other than smoke on occasion. :confused3

I am sorry about the smell.
It seems experiment 626 got loose and visited the mexican pavillion then ran amuck

Directly behind MK is the waste disposal area. Normally, they pump a nice smell out to cover the waste smell. Maybe there is a problem with it. Also, behind Toontown, there is basically a bog. Very slimy green water. If the wind is just from the right direction, you might pick up that smell.

I haven't read every post on the thread, so I don't know if this hypothesis has been made yet. But since many of you have mentioned that this smell is around bushes, etc., is there a chance that the smell may be coming from mulch?

I know that often when things are freshly mulched around here, it definitely has a very "ripe" odor.

OH MY GOSH YES!!

When my friends and I visited and stayed at Pop in August of 2006 and on our walks back from the food court area or the bus area and the first person to smell it would yell "FEET!" We agreed that it smelled like nasty, sweaty, stale, moldy gym socks. We figured that it was some sort of fertilizer
because the smell was always around the trees and bushes.

Either you are the mother of teen boys or you have a teen brother because they are the only class of humans who can actually stand to leave a smelly gym sock in their room and not transport it to a hamper where it would promptly be washed!:lmao:

YOU GOT ME!! :rotfl:

i have a 15 year old brother. when im home from school, it just amazes me. it doesmnt matter HOW accessible the hamper is, the clothes never make it in there. if they DO make it in, the period of time between the wearing of the clothes and the WASHING of the clothes is OUTRAGEOUS! haha!
