What is up with May crowd predictions?

Touring Plans this weekend has same level as July .... 8's. Independent of special events, you use to be able to look at school calendar. All kids seem to be in school until at the earliest late May. All kids seem to be out of school by July. What gives? May use to be a good time to go, with the exception of Memorial day.

It's probably a mix of Star Wars Weekends and that schools are out now for most colleges and a lot of the Midwest.
