What is this craziness?

I went to DVCmembers website to do the online check in for our upcoming trip. By chance I clicked the itinerary details tab on the second page of the online check in. Under package type it says "Pirate- Water View"?

This might make since if we were staying somewhere on Bay Lake. I would think that it was a designation for a view etc. BUT we are at AKV? We are booked for a savannah view.

We also added one night before in a standard room and under the package type it says "Room Only". This only made the Pirate- Water View more confusing.

Does anyone what what this craziness is all about?
Is it secret Disney code for make as much noise outside their door as possible or no toilet paper refills allowed?

There is a glitch in the system, others have reported it.

Maybe DVC has spiced things up a bit at AKV and have put pirate eye patches on a couple of the animals...? Have a great trip!

Glitch, that view is at the Carribean Resort. As with most things like this, it takes Disney's tech people centuries to figure out how to fix it on the website since this problem was first reported months ago.

Agreed. Plus their testing must not amount to much. I would have had beta testers test the system, with development refining the result, issuing successive betas, until they could release it. This mistake is just too obvious, I think, not to have been caught with a modicum of testing.

...The pirate - water view was listed on our BWV preferred view when I checked in online last night, too. Gotta love technology.

Thanks all. I assumed as much but it was a very interesting difference. I had seen the postings for other resorts just never AKV. I would have been all for a pirate view if it envolved JD.
