I'm looking for the name of a cake pan...and/or a place to purchase it. It's round with scalloped edges. When you flip the cake out of the pan it has a recessed center area that you can fill with .....well .......with whatever.

The recipe I am looking for is for an angel food cake baked in this pan. Then the center area is filled with a light cheesecake sort of filling and is topped with fresh fruit.

Thanks for any help!!

What I described could be a bundt cake pan....but that's not what I'm looking for.
This is more like a tart/pie pan. It's only as deep as a pie pan.
And when it's flipped over...rather than having a hole...like a bundt cake........it's more like.....well.......it's more like the top of the cake has a raised edge around the rim.

Sorry I can't be clearer.

It's so difficult to search the web when I don't know what to call it! HA!

Are either of these what you're looking for?

Sorry Tabitha. Can't help you with the recipe. But it does sound good, so if you find it you'll have to share.

Have you tried using the search feature on your computer? That and Google have helped me find several recipes:)
