What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

That was bad, but ya know what made it good? It was an early demonstration of surround sound used to the extreme..... It was very cool watching that on a big home theater system.

Still flat out the worst acting I've ever seen. Keanu Reeves deserves an emmy compared to this garbage!:rotfl:

The Point, was pretty bad too... my father liked a lot of terrible movies for some reason.

I agree with American Beauty, Magnolia & Vanilla Sky.

I'll add Oceans 13, Dukes of Hazzard & The Spongebob Squarepants Movie.

Good Will Hunting....stupid stupid stupid

Leaving Las Vegas.....possibly the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my life....

"Sister Act 2" might also fall into this category as well. It was nice, but seriously how can having a great choir that ends up winning a music competition stop a school from closing?

Hostel
Skeleton Key
High Tension

Hostel and High tension belong in the bloody "adult film" section.

:lmao: I'll have to tell my mom that I got flamed for her favorite movie, Blazing Saddles! She'll be so happy. :rotfl:

Coyote Ugly made me embarrassed to be a woman. No, scratch that. It made me embarrassed to be a human.

4 way tie...

Hunt for Red October (snoozefest)
Friends with Money (wt heck was that and I want my 2 hours back)dumb, dumb
Marie Antoinette (Kirsten dunst)... by the end I was hoping they'd show her at the guillotine!
Happy FEET! OMG, most irritating movie ever.

I like (and own) some of these movies (American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, etc).

For me, the worst are probably Rent and Wet Hot American Summer. Rent is probably worse though since it was not trying to be silly and WHAS was.

Showgirls - Stupid, just stupid.
Major League II - Ridiculous

The Postman- Kevin Costner (I think that was the name.)
Water World- Kevin Costner (Didn't see all of that)

The Matrix- (DH loved it)
Lord of the Rings -All 3. Not my thing. Suffered a lot. DH loved them. That naked little man, so gross.

I like a lot of the ones that were mentioned.

For me, it's a toss-up between Who's That Girl and Talladega Nights - the only movie I've ever walked out on!

I agree with all the choices except: Blazing Saddles and The Deer Hunter
My contribution is The French Lieutenant's Woman.

The Postman- Kevin Costner (I think that was the name.)

*Mouth gaped open in horror*

Don't tell my mother that. She's a crazed Keanu Reeves fan and will do anything to protect her Neo. :p

I disagree with Happy Feet. I loved that movie and thought it was funny/ taught a good lesson.

No country for old men.
