What is the WORST Disney sequel?

Cinderella 2, Tarzan 2. Both of these were just collections of cartoons that were made for TV but never aired, stapled together by a flimsy attempt at a plot.

I am looking forward to Bambi II - Venison Vengeance.

The only one that was that I thought was possibly even better than the original was Toy Story 2. I am getting increasing annoyed by all these cheap sequels. Rather than having a dare I say original story idea ~ Monsters inc, Nemo ..Eisner seems to be going for a quick buck. What next ~ Snow White 2 !!! Sacriledge Poor Walt. I think since Pixars out of the picture we can expect more sequels , less originality. Stay tuned for Apple Dumpling gang 2

Word is they are thinking of making a third.

BTW: A Snow White 2 has been disucussed more than once. Theres a good chance they will do this eventually.

Almost all of the sequels are trash.

I can't really think of a sequel that I actually liked.

I hated Cinderella 2. There was no need for that sequel.

Put me down as another vote for Cinderella 2....but I actually kinda liked Lion King 1 1/2...Kind of an interesting idea to tell the same story but from a completely different perspective.

That's why I liked it too...and we thought the song with the Meerkats digging was funny.

We stopped watching the straight to video sequels because the animation quality was so bad.

I like L K 1 1/2 also. I just saw Mulan II and I thought that was pretty bad.

I haven't seen LK, but dd made me watch Mulan II with her, Mulan I is one of my all time favorites. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would also have to say that The Jungle Book 2 was horrible. What really makes me mad is that Jungle Book is my favorite Disney movie, and they couldn't even make a remotely decent sequel to it. Also, in the DVD extras , one of the animators was raving about how it was far superior to the original. I couldn't believe he actually had the nerve to even say that- what a joke!!!

We just watched Bambi tonight and wouldn't you know it! There at the end of the previews.....coming Spring 2006 Bambi II Prince of the Forest or something like that. Ugh!


My kids have never seen a Disney movie they didn't like.
I on the other hand hated Little Mermaid II, Return of Jafar, Lion King II and wouldn't even let them rent Scamp's London Adventure or Atlantis II, Jungle Book II, Tarzan II.

I do think Peter Pan Return to Neverland is cute though.

Yes, Bambi is going to have a sequel. Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest is supposed to tell a little more about Bambi growing up with his dad, since in the original, he is a fawn, then an adult when we see him again.
I remember seeing a preview for Dumbo 2, I don't remember when it's supposed to be out, not that I'm looking forward to it.
I agree with the posters that say that Toy Story 2 is a good sequel, however, I also liked The Rescuers Down Under~a great sequel!

Hated Mulan 2! Waste of time! Wish I never got through Netflix, could have gotten something alot better. DS and DD didn't even like it.

Just saw that preview last night myself and I it sounded like Sean Connery was the voice of Bambi's father.
