What is the worst board game you've ever played?

Candyland. Even as a kid, I hated this game. It's so frustrating when you're 3 spaces away from the Candy Castle and you draw a card that sends you all the way back to Gumdrop Mountain. And it seems to happen over and over again, so the game takes hours to finish.

Same deal with Chutes and Ladders.

No way! ya just have to count wrong a little...... .... and let one of your kids win, like we do!

Our family enjoys board games, we LIKE Life, Monopoly, lots of others. But the worst was several years ago when the kids were younger, they wanted this Cat in the Hat game. BORING and no point, it was the stupidest game we've ever seen.

All of them. I hate board games. That's not true, I like Othello but that's the only game I can think of that I actually like.

I hate Mousetrap. I hate it so much that my best friend bought it for my kids.

I also hate Chess but guess what my son just learned how to play and loves-Chess. I had to take him to watch Nationals last week and he is starting lessons soon.

I would have to say the Disney Monorail game. DD and I were at WDW this summer and it was a rainy night so we went to the store at Saratoga Springs and bought this game. It cost $15 but it was only worth about $2. It was awful! I hate Mousetrap, too, because it's such a pain in the neck to set up.

I agree with the poster who mentioned Scruples. We played with our family.....once....and it caused such a bad arguement, the game went in the garbage that night and we don't even speak about it at all.

The New Cootie... the legs, anteni, tounges, dont stay in the bodies anymore. drives me nuts... and the kids too. Oh wait, that isnt a board game....

We played Racko a lot as a child, cant say I am all that fond of it. But that isnt a board game either.....

I always hated Operation. I never could get the stupid bones and that alarm always made me jump.

I do like Life, Scrabble and Monopoly a lot though. And Stratego is the best game ever.

I'd have to go with Mousetrap. You spend the whole time building that stupid mousetrap and invariably one crucial piece is missing or the the trap doesn't go down right. Bleah!

But I love Life. Call me crazy--DH won't even look at it. And Star Wars Monopoly(as long as i get to be Darth Vader), Chutes & Ladders(house rules:nobody has to slide down from the top two rows ), and Candyland(I either stack the deck in order, or remove the special cars altogether.)

The worst game we ever played was Mystery Date. Three out of the four guys were dogs. We'd all make kissing sounds when the guy in the tux came up.

Agreed. I had the same problem with that alarm.

We didn't like the Trouble game we picked up at WDW that was Stitch themed. The little pieces don't stay in the holes when you pop the popper, everything flies out and you have to try and remember where they were to put them back!
