What is the weather like the first week of May?

I will be at DL the first week of May, too. Sounds like a few of us will be around.

Hey Pat, this is the third time that we have been at the same park or on the same cruise over the years but never had a chance to meet up! Maybe this year!!:)

Third week for us and our first trip! Can't wait! Hoping for nice weather.

You are going to LOVE stepping through the gates of Disneyland! I bet you will have tears in your eyes as you hear Walt's voice welcoming you to the happiest place on earth!! Take the time to look around and take it all in. There is so much that you miss if you focus solely on the rides. If you can, take a backstage tour...

I look back on the past trips to Disneyland and I get teary eyed all over again. Knowing that Walt walked down Main Street USA is so surreal for me. I am a true Disney geak! In more ways than one! :rotfl2: Every room of my home is Disney related. Hundreds of magnets on our refrigerator..dishes, silverware, glasses...all Disney, an entire bedroom ... all Disney...along with three others with Disney art on the walls, and Disney sheets... Disney doorbell, Disney planters, sorry I got carried away here...but you get the picture!

Have fun! I know you will!

looks like the weather is warming up in sunny CA! Today it is 79 degrees there...hopefully it will be pollen free too!

May not be worrying about the weather the first week of May afterall...we may have to cancel our trip  It all depends on what the Dr. says....

still waiting to find out from the Dr. when hubby's surgery will be...he wants to put if off until we get back for Disneyland...Dr. said no rides, with the exception of the low keyed ones, that is..may be pushing him around in a wheelchair if we do go...checked on our flight and DGC ressies too...flight is good for a year from when we booked it...DGC does not have any availability until October! :scared1:

Checking the wether it looks like there will be a warm up next week! Almost 90

I know they have ECV rentals out there, just like WDW, and if you get to go, I sure would be checking that out rather than pushing a wheelchair. He could run circles around you in an ECV.

I stopped into the store on Saturday, but you weren't working, maybe next time.

Wow, now that's not what I was expecting! If we go, cooler temps would be better for dh. Gonna make that decision tomorrow after our next visit with the Dr.

Also, checked on availability if we need to postpone...not looking good...nothing until October/November!

Thanks for the info..sorry I missed you Saturday...I work this Friday 3-7pm..

In my brief experience, three trips last year, the forcast can change a lot from the time I get on the plane in Raleigh and when I disembark in Ca. One trip last year, no rain called for when we left and we actually had rain about 3of our 5 days. I think the weather has been so screwy everywhere this past year that you really can't count on much of anything holding true as far as a forcast. Best to just go prepared for warm and cool and rain. :goodvibes
