What is the "Rapunzel Bus"?

Okay, I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere, but it's kind of a hard phrase to use the search option for, and all of my searches have turned up nothing.

We stayed at the Pop from the 17th - 30th. Several times through out our trip, we saw a bus pull up that said Rapunzel where it would normally say the destination. Otherwise, it was a completely normal Disney bus. Every time I saw it, it pulled up in front of the very first bus stop at Pop, directly in front of the door to Everything Pop by a sign that said something about "Charters". (I honestly didn't even know you could charter a bus at Disney in the first place? :confused3 Guess I didn't do my research as well as I'd thought!)

But basically, curiosity has gotten the best of me. What is this bus for, and why is it called the Rapunzel bus? Thanks!

It can either be a bus specifically carrying CM's to/from the various resorts and parks, or it can be a bus that carries guests to early ADR's.
(I'd guess the former.)

These buses can have various character names that generally do not
have a specific "meaning" in regard to the character named on the bus.
It's just a "code name" for that bus route.

I think the Rapunzel bus replaced the Belle bus sometime in 2011 ;)

Actually, I think they also are the "generic" name on the front that is used en route to a transportation hub. Once they get there, they are told where they are going and wil change the Rapunzel to the specific resort.

Thanks, guys! I knew the Dis would know. =)

I figured it was something along those lines. I was a little thrown when I saw a bunch of CMs sitting at the completely opposite, far bus stop several different times, and I don't think it was ADRs because we were out pretty early some mornings and we only ever saw it mid-day, but I'm positive it was for CMs. Thanks.

Never saw the Rapunzel bus, but the last time we were there we kept seeing buses marked "Stitch.":confused3

One time we saw "Remy" buses everywhere. Silly me thought , wow, that family is lucky, having a bus following them around!

And yes I *have* seen Ratatouille. Twice.
