What is the most relaxing spot you have found in WDW?

I go along with the TTA. It is just so relaxing and you get a little wind in your face. So nice

ScubaD is my DH and I agree that was a really relaxing time on the porch at BWV. Another place I enjoy is at the end of Main Street where the umbrella tables and rose gardens are. It's peaceful sitting there in the morning, facing the castle and gardens.

I like the fact that you can sit, get out of the sun and feel a breeze moving down the track.

ITA! Smuggle in a Dole Whip, put your feet up, and enjoy!

Ditto...The TTA is an awesome place for some downtime. There is almost never a wait and the ride is so relaxing.

The rocking chairs on the upper patio at the Boardwalk resort. We just love to sit there in the evening after a great meal at Spoodles or Flying Fish.

on a Palm Covered Beach overlooking a lagoon, sipping a drink......You won't even think you are at WDW. They are over by the Cabanas.

I like the lower patio in front of The Plaza restaurant at MK. After Wishes we always get an ice cream and sit on the patio and watch the lights change on the castle while the masses rush out to the busses. We usually stay for the Kiss Goodnight, then head up Main Street which is pretty much deserted by then.

about an hour after the park closes you will hear a loud kissing sound come over the speakers at the Magic Kingdom...It's a nice touch.

It basically signifies to the CM's that it is time to get the rest of the guests out of the park and the CM's will start politely prodding the stragglers to make their way out of the park.

I agree with the pp that it is nice to relax for that hour and enjoy the sights and not have to worry about fighting through crowds at the busses, monorail or ferry launch.

my favorite relaxing place is just strolling around Crescent Lake. In particular if you are walking from Epcot to the BC, instead of going over the bridge, to go under the bridge. No one ever goes that way and you can usually stop and watch the boat from Epcot coming and going...very relaxing.

On a hammock at the Poly during off season. No one is out there. It is quiet. You can see MK and yet still feel like you are on a desolate tropical island. It is even better with a drink.

...or if my kids are with me. Sitting on a bench while they run themselves ragged at any playground!

Animal Kingdom Lodge balcony overlooking the Savana and sitting in the lobby at night is always peaceful. I am another TTA fan. Can't go to the MK without taking a break on the TTA.

If I can stay up that late I may have to give that one a try. It sounds very relaxing.

Hands down the most relaxing spot in WDW is Pooh's Corner. Sit and rest out of the crowds. Pretty quiet. And the kids can run and play for a while, but still be in view.

I love it there.

Sitting somewhere on the beach at the Poly just before the fireworks. It is dark, quiet and just sooooooo relaxing.

We have made this a family tradition to do this the first night we get there (if there is fireworks that night of course).

I love the Solarium at the Beach Club. During the day it is really quiet, and they pipe soft, relaxing music into the room. It is open and airy, and I just love it. Some of the best times I have at WDW is in the Solarium.

I, too, love the TTA- but I also love the little side street off of Main Street in MK. It's where you can hear the music and dance lessons from the window. On busy nights I like to steal off to a bench back there and watch people move along Main Street.

Yes, hands down, the TTA is the ultimate relaxing spot in the Magic Kingdom for me. I'd stay on a couple times in a row to get out of the sun.

In Epcot, I love the Impressions de France movie. It's relaxing, and I haven't fallen asleep in there, even though I might want to if I'm feeling wiped out.

At the Studios, I really haven't found a place to relax and unwind.

At Animal Kingdom, I like area off to the left side when walking from Africa to Asia. There's a little path that winds that direction, and it's shaded.

And at the resorts...

If you are staying concierge level, those lounges are fantastic. The Polynesian lounge has a wonderful Magic Kingdom view. At Animal Kingdom Lodge's lounge, my friends and I spent an entire afternoon playing Haunted Mansion Clue while enjoying the lounge goodies.

I do like the back porch area at BWV, and the Solarium at BCV. The lobbies of GF and AKL have wonderful chairs and sofas. At Wilderness Lodge, walk up to the second level or so. There are chairs set up overlooking the lobby. It's cool to view the lobby from that higher perspective.

And the place I always liked to relax the most is no longer open...the Adventurers Club main salon. I would sit either on the circular "poof" in the middle or one of the side chairs. That was my favorite location at WDW to relax.
