What is the most beautiful name you've ever heard?

My daughters are:

Isabelle Sophia -- I call her Belle sometimes and a few people call her Izzy, but I really don't like that.

Elisabeth Carol -- We call her Lily most of the time. My mom called her Lilabet when she was a baby and it was eventually just shortened to Lily.

I also like the names Alaina, Aubrey, Kyleigh, Lillian, and Jillian.

My niece has one of the most beautiful names I have ever heard. Her name is Calie Mae (most people spell it Cali, but this was how our last name was spelled so she used that). It means beautiful flower. The name just suits her so well. I am also fond of the name Erin Elisabeth. Dh wouldn't let me name our dd that though. Sigh.

I love the name Riley or Rileigh also like the name Sherita, or Shayla or Chayla.

My daughter's names are Ashton Meakile (pronounced Me Ky L) and Karlynn McKenna (pronounced Kar Lynn, we call her Karly).

I am Denae Marie
DD's are Hannah Marie and Emily Nicole.

I always swore I would not saddle my kids with a name no one could pronounce or spell. I love my name now, but hated it growing up, especially since my maiden name is German, and 13 letters long.

Emily likes her name, but there are a lot of little Emilys running around - 2 in her class, 3 in our GS troop, so she is known as Emily B - she even signs her cards to us as Emily B. :rotfl2: She was going to be Alicia - but we changed it at the last minute because it did not suit her at all.

Denae

I actually don't care much for my daughter's name. Her father named her. :lmao:

I absolutely adore the name Carleigh. :goodvibes I always thought Valerie, Veronica and Clara were pretty too. :)

Moon unit 2, just kidding, I like Andromeda, but this is a tough question.

I also like Savannah but don't know what the nickname would be. Would it be Vannah or Savy?

We have a Savannah and she has soo nickname. Well, DD2 calls her Sienna but that's just her trying to pronounce Savannah!

Yeah, I have to go with my DD's name Elliana. It is still my favorite. But some of my others are:

Eden
Amelia
Talia
Grace
Emmalee

I love the name Presleigh Caroline, of course this is my niece...I added a pic

I love Jacqueline but I think it's because I knew this cute little girl a long time ago and that was her name and everytime someone pronounced it jaclyn, she would correcting them overenunicating "the "qua" part. It was too cute.

My oldest dd is named Mahogany Danielle. I named her after the movie with Diana Ross. I loved that movie from the time I was 12 and told my mom when I had a daughter I would name her that.

Then we have Savannah Christine, Sierra Elise, and Sophia Brooklynn. I don't have nicknames for them (well, I sometimes call Sophia, Sophie or Soph) but they have nicknames for each other. Savannah calls Sierra, Si-Si and Sierra calls Savannah Na-Na. It's "their" thing, I guess.

My DD is Caitlin Elizabeth

How funny. My dd is Caitlin Elizabeth, too. :thumbsup2 It fits her perfectly.

Some of my other favorites are Aileen and Linnea. I have loved those names for years (my best friend when I was young is named Aileen and I met a Linnea later in life) but my ex didn't care for them.

Another favorite is Juliet, my grandniece's name. It's perfect for her--she's a beautiful child and a real girly girl.

Well, my name is Lauren Grace so its pretty much my favorite name. If I ever have a baby girl, I was thinking Lila Grace.

I named my daughters very very traditionally--Sarah Elizabeth and Hannah Catherine. It's much more common to do that in the South, I think.

Sarah Elizabeth is what we going to name DS if he would have been a girl. Look at post #90. Our DD is named Hannah. I always wanted a Katherine (with a K) even was I was little, but DH did a veto on that one. To many on has side of the family.

I think Grace is such a beautiful name. Nickname Gracie.

I never had a girl but if I did that would be what I would name her.

I have 3 boys. Their names are Seth, Noah, and Elijah.

If DS16 had been a girl, he would have been named Katlyn Elizabeth!!! For years I wanted a girl named Katie. But by the time I had a girl, EVERYONE had a girl named Katie, so I changed names.
