What is the maximum time you'd queue for?

I'm just curious about different people's opinions. My friend said 30 mins is her max. I think I'd wait up to 45 minutes and with a careful touring plan, hope not to queue much more than that. It's my first time in WDW though, so I might not have reasonable expectations. I am going from 20th to 27th May.

15 minutes

Because i use disability pass and 15 minutes stand up is The max i can do

I wait up to 45 for a ride I like or because I'm currently too tired to walk far finding a shorter line:). With a decent general plan for how to tackle the park plus a bit of luck, usually it's 30 min or less, though.

I am often impressed by people on this site who say they ride everything, at any time of year, and never ever wait more than 20 min. (and I want to invite those posters along on my trip for a tour guide fee!)

The most I have waited was before there was a fast pass system and that was 120 minutes because my parents really wanted to ride Splash Mountain and that was the only day we were at MK that trip.

The most I have waited in the last 10 years is about 60 minutes for TSM. The first time was because we had gotten to DHS later than planned and really wanted my aunt to ride it. We used the wait time to catch up as my aunt and I were visiting with my cousin and her wife.

For the most part, I will not get into a line with more than a 45 minute wait, but normally the wait has to be less than 30 minutes.

I have to admit that my family and I stood in line for 2 hours to get on the Nemo submarines when they opened at DL in 2007. However, having done that...I'm down to about 30 minutes and even that sounds like a long time for me.

45 minutes. Anything longer guarantees that my daughter is going to have to pee and I am going to get twitchy.

For rides I've really wanted to do in the past & the lines couldn't be skipped I have waiting 1hr+, we used to travel in August so crowds were fairly bananas. Having been so many times now & travelling in May when crowds are lighter & we can FP+ our favourites rides at the parks. We will only waiting 20-30 minutes for a ride or we will skip it to another time. I would rather not get on a single ride & enjoy the ambience of the park at my own pace than stand in 1hr queues all day, but going regularly gives me that luxury.

20 minutes... unless we end up trapped in a queue that turns out to be unexpectedly long. :)

In general, we won't get into a line with a posted wait time of longer than 25 minutes, and if it says 25 minutes, we're only getting in because we think it'll be less than that. (The obvious exception being rides like Toy Story Mania or Test Track in the last half hour before closing! Those wait times are inflated.) And we really do ride everything... but not all in one day! :) We tend to stay for 8 or 9 days at a time, so if a line looks long, we can afford to just walk by and either come back at a better time or Fastpass it on some other day.

It really depends on the attraction. If it is something new that I really wanted to do, I might wait longer. Generally about 20 min. is all I will wait.

It depends on how good the line is and who I am with. I would wait an hour in the Harry Potter ride line because there is so much to see and do there. Also, the test track line was long, but it flew by because designing the cars was a nice distraction.

30 mins., but we usually head to WS when our early park rides are less than that.

I think the longest I've ever waited in line for a ride at Disney between my last few trips was 40 minutes for Malestrom and that was because I had gone the weekend it was closing and I was going to ride it no matter how long the wait was going to be. Usually my waits are more like 20-30 minutes tops (more often closer to 20).

My family is used to hour+ waits for coasters at our local Six Flags so long waits don't really phase us. But using Rope Drop in the morning, FP+ and doing high capacity attractions during the busy afternoons, and late night EMH we never really encountered any long waits.

We've waited an hour or even longer at times, but it was when we had plenty of time to wait. For instance, if you go on a really busy week and stay from open-close with extended hours, you have the time to wait in lines. For the most part, the queues at Disney are at least interesting.

45 minutes. And we waited every bit of that for Jungle Cruise. But, it was closed for our first trip and partially closed during our last trip, so I really wanted to get it in. Now that I know, I wouldn't wait that long again. Winnie the Pooh we waited 40 minutes, but the queue has fun stuff for the kids, so it didn't feel so bad.

It depends on the ride and the circumstances, but generally I don't wait longer than 30-35 minutes.

DS and I were at the 24 hour event in 2014 and 7DMT was open that night--might've been a soft opening, or just opened. He'd not had a chance to do it yet and FP wasn't available, so there we were at 4:15 am standing in a 60-minute standby wait. That's definitely the exception to the rule. :D
