What is the maximum time you'd queue for?

Goofy....but....I choose my Fps by the lines I really don't want to stand in. If it's hot / humid, Splash line can be killer for me. So, that gets a FP (minimal wait and mostly indoors). Space Mtn is the same. Won't wait in a more than 30 min line for that one.

It really depends on the ride. I wait 1-2 hours for rides at the local Six flags all the time. I'd wait a max of 2 hours for something at Disney too.

30 mins for something I really wanted. Otherwise, there are lots of other things to do. FYI there is another thread on the Boards discussing the inflated posted wait times and that most lines aren't as long as posted. Some believe its because the data is based on an average of prior days waits and the info isn't always accurate and relevant to the crowds on your day. I don't have the link handy but def worth checking out.

Depends on attraction, really. I would wait hours to ride Living With the Land ;) But wouldn't wait 15 minutes for Dumbo..

We'll wait 1 hour + if it is something our kids really really want to ride. Usually though it's just a 20-30 minute wait.

I'll wait for an hour, anything more than that I won't get in line for. I prefer to wait closer to 20 minutes (or not at all!), but if it's something I really want to do I have no issues waiting in line, especially if the queue is indoors and it's a hot or rainy day! We tend to FP outdoor queues (Splash, Big Thunder, etc) so most long waits I've experienced have been indoors (TSMM, Soarin', Test Track).

30 minutes is the max we'll wait on something. We've been so many times that we know how to make the best use of our time so that we are just standing around doing nothing while waiting on a ride!!

Generally I am closer to 40 minutes for a wait. However, my last trip to WDW, i waited 80 minutes for Mine Train on my last day because I had never ridden it and the line was never less than 80 minutes the 2 days i was there and could never get a FP.

I ended up waiting almost 70 min for HyperSpace Mountain at DL around christmas, but it was so crowded everywhere I was fine waiting around for that...plus it was awesome.

I skipped Mine Train on our last trip in Aug/14 even though I had never been on it. (we booked too last minute to get a FP) We only had one day in each park and it wasn't worth it to me to spend that long waiting for one ride. We even tried rope drop but it was too long already so we just said "screw it". We will have more time this trip and will definitely do out best to get a FP this time.

It definitely depends on the ride itself. I might wait as long as 60 minutes for a big ticket ride that I couldn't get a FP for, whereas I wouldn't wait longer than 25 for the less popular rides.

20 minutes generally, but I'll stretch it out to 30 if it's something I really want to ride and I don't think I'll be able to come back later.

it depends on the ride and what our plans are. 45 min is our standard limit tho.

I can think of a few instances where I've waited 40 minutes my last few trips...and it's been for the same reason several times (and same ride). Twice we've been around Winnie the Pooh 40 minutes before our FP return time when it had a wait of 40 minutes. Both times my son has opted to play in the standby queue rather than go do something else and come back.

Probably anything else (without an intereactive queue) would be more like 30 minutes.

But...do you mean actually wait or would I get in line if it's showing a wait time of a certain time? If I can see the line, I've gotten in lines that say a 60 minute wait but have been considerably less in real life (which has been quite obvious if you're looking at the line).

lol at Disney my max is probably a half hour to 45 mins if the line is inside or at night. We waited for Gringotts at USO the first year 2 hours 45 mins lol

We use FP's, and go at certain times of the year where the waits aren't huge, like they've been the past few weeks that I've seen on the app. We've been coming to WDW for so many years.. back when there were no FP's, we waited hours for things and never complained because that's just how it was. I remember waiting 2 hours for Soarin when it first opened.. it was brutal, boring (still is lol) queue, but worth it. Now we make sure to FP headliners.. But when I see a 30 or 40 minute wait time, we usually never mind it because we remember what it used to be like years ago - 30 minutes is nothing now lol. I think the posted stand-by times can really be deceiving... sometimes when there is a posted wait time of 45 minutes, it is never actually 45 minutes. This happened on HM - wait time said 45 mins, but we were on in 15 minutes. This past trip, Living with the Land had a posted wait time of 40 minutes, but it was only 10 mins.

I guess my max is 60 minutes nowadays. There are so many other things we can see/do in that time. I saw on the app, Space Mt was 180 mins last week - I would never say "oh lets go get in line for that!" with that kind of wait time. When they are that high, it is just crazy to me. But when we go, it is never that crowded where we'd see those crazy stand by times.

I wait up to 45 for a ride I like or because I'm currently too tired to walk far finding a shorter line:). With a decent general plan for how to tackle the park plus a bit of luck, usually it's 30 min or less, though.

I am often impressed by people on this site who say they ride everything, at any time of year, and never ever wait more than 20 min. (and I want to invite those posters along on my trip for a tour guide fee!)

I did this in July with 10 other people in tow! I had a good plan and willing followers, but there is definitely luck involved.

30 minutes. 40 if it's something we really love and there is nothing that we want to do more with a shorter wait.
