...away on holiday (vacation)?

It's 16 days for us - we need that amount when visiting far away places too - just wish we could stretch it to more!

At Disney...10 days.
Not at Disney (I know, I know.....I'm hanging my head in shame)...3 weeks.

Wow Tevagirl that must have been a great vacation! The longest we have stayed away is 11 nights in Disney. When Tevagirl made the plans!

Our longest trip to Disney World was for our honeymoon, we stayed 14 days! (2 of those days are considered "travel days.")

My longest vacation was 30 days to Australia and New Zealand in 2001-2002. Truly one of the most amazing vacations I have ever taken.

12 days when I took a cruise to Alaska. 12 hrs on the plane to Anchorage; 7 days on the cruise; 2 days in Vancouver; 2 days in Seattle. That was an awesome vacation.

Longest at Disney: 6 days

Longest trip ever was 12 days to Hawaii.

Longest trip to Disney was 10 days.

Of course those two other days in Hawaii might as well be called "travel days" due to the plane trip and time change!!

Wdw-7days
Scotland/Ireland-10 days
"out west"-14 days
"up north"-14 days
Vacation with in-laws- forever

Japan - 3 Weeks; 5 yr Anniversary
Hawaii - 10 days; 10 yr Anniversary

WDW - 8 days; 1st trip with kids, I had to make up for not taking the kids to Hawaii!!!

Longest stateside vacation (with DH and DS): NC Mountains; had 10 days last year.

Longest vacation, period (with my parents and sister, right after HS graduation): England, 16 days.

Longest WDW Vacation (with DH-this was pre-DS): 7 days. We normally take shorter trips there, because we live fairly close. But on that 7 day trip, I got sick on day 2, and we stayed in the room the rest of the trip. Poor DH!! Don't know why we didn't just come home...

Longest Disney trip - 16 days - Beach Club & Boardwalk Villas

Longst adult vacation - 60 days - Europe
(church, museum, statue, church, museum, statue, church, rocky beach, museum, statue, mountain, snow, church, museum, statue, church, museum, lake, statue, church, ruins, museum, ruins again, busted statues, etc.)
Oh yeah, I forgot. Bad food, rude people.

Longest trip as a child - 6+ months - Europe (happy to say no memory of that trip)

John

Our honeymoon at WDW was 8 days, and we were getting stir-crazy toward the end. I think that 7 days / 6 nights is about our limit. WDW has a lot to do, and I don't mean to imply that you can experience everything in that time frame. But given the choice between a single, long vacation and several shorter ones, we'll always take the shorter ones.

24 days in Europe
5 months in Ghana, W. Africa (AK is MUCH prettier, by the way!) :)
A few 3-4 day stays in NYC for New Year's
2 1-week stays in Hawaii

Next month: 10 days @ WDW (our first time there as a family).

So....... FIVE months! :)

13 days at WDW this last May/June.

Didn't want to leave , either. But will be back in 6.5 days :p

Longest stay has been 6weeks WDW/VB combined. Avg stay 4-5 weeks in the summer.
